Is anyone running Boundless on a Macintosh M3? WfH opportunity hath knocked and I’m a little in shock from the excitement.
@JupiterJones may can answer this as I am also unsure.
Looking at the specs for an M3, Id say yes
Well Boundless is a Mac app, but it is targeting the Intel CPU platform. There is a translation layer available that makes Intel apps temporary compatible with the Apple Silicon. They call this Rosetta 2 and as long as Rosetta 2 is available, and the GPU stays compatible, it should work:
I hadn’t tried it, but just installed steam and boundless and yes it runs fine on the M3.
omg TOMORROW a stroke of fortune will be in my crazy little murder mittens. i’ve been bouncing off the walls excited waiting for it
omg i’m seeing both sides of @BabyCookie’s chiselling on the front of my arch for the first time. And a zillion FPS. i have to get used to this, and still want to get a controller working so this keyboard lasts a long time i must go adventuring b/c i’ve had everything at rock bottom settings & then narrowed the FoV to try and get 4-6 fps… no more several seconds waiting for placed blocks to appear…
yeaaaa I went little overboard on decorating the entrance
it’s awesome, i just hadn’t really seen it or the rest of the city with textures & everything before the only thing i might change is the color gleam i picked, i’ll see if my pale or stale lilac blocks look good by trying it on the other end of the hall tempted to make lilac or white LEDs too
