I tried about 8 times to add the block colors, but the formatting wouldn’t take. So weird.

Could it be because Tiggs updated the forums? :cookie:

It’s possible, but not 100% sure. I’ll tinker around with it later.

From the edits it looks like you used the API to generate the forum post and forgot to unescape the double quotation marks

Let’s see if this works…

Okay, I see it now

Yea… you see the issue

I didn’t dig into the why just yet. I may just format the block colors into a table.

Looks like there is a css class that is using display: block and needs to be inline. Looks like lightbox stuff.

Looking at the plants section from my attempt, it seems to me like it’s failing to properly group everything together into paragraphs (<p>) when converting from markdown to html. Since there is no difference in the markdown, I suspect that the issue is not on our end :man_shrugging:

One last test with additional blank lines between the sections

If you generated feom de api ypu have to remove the /n

Thanks Gorillastomp, but I did that for my attempt

I suspect that it’s the formatting of the last picture (the planet or the infinite sign) that’s tripping it up.

@Gorillastomp things have changed on the forums it looks like. I have always used notepad++ and removed the /n but looks like with the forum update its using lightbox for the images now, or an updated version of lightbox.

You can inspect the code and see a display: block around the images themselves. The need to display: inline.

You were right after all redlotus. Looks like the forum is now wrapping the infinite-sign images into that clickable thingy (lightbox?) which screws with the formatting. Let’s see if we can stop it from doing so by wrapping it into a link to nowhere:

Yea this was the option I was looking into and how to prevent that… looks like you found a similar solution to what I saw.

Yeah looks like it’s now doing it for all uploaded pictures which are not used in a link. @Angellus can we maybe possibly potentially perhaps get a fix for this? Pretty please with sugar on top?

PRs are welcome.

What is a PR?

PR means pull request. Basically a source code contribution to boundlexx by someone else
