maybe a nice solution for players that play the game in a way that doesnt give xp but help out the game
some sort off social xp
so if i spend 10 hours ingame without making xp
i get xp times ten hours just for being in the game
this need a way to check if players are afk offcoarse
some sort off check in
i leave that part to dev’s our others to sort out lol
please dev’s dont make me go mine
Too easy to abuse. Too many ways to circumvent an afk checker.
The problem is that all buffs last while you are offline. Because of this you can log in and gather lump sum exp. the problem with trying to fix that is it takes a lot of legwork to get to a point where you can reap those kinds of juices exp sessions.
This whole debacle wouldn’t even be a thing if the game was enjoyable to level up in for alts. Once someone is at a point they want an alt, they know what they need and how they need to do it. Efficiency is the name of the game.
Trying to fix this just makes no sense to me. It’s been like this forever at this point. When this gets fixed it’ll just be a new method that takes its place and we have the same coversation a few months down the line.
I am afraid I will have to agree, that this change would not be good for the game. This rewards the players that have 5 hours a day to play versus the casual player. It is not any action just being in the game. I think a player should have to do something to earn xp. However, I do have an issue with not getting any xp for doing something and that should not be happening.
If they developers do not want the casual player then this is exactly the kind of change they should make, but the remaining hardcore players better be ready to fork out some coin to support the game.
Load up a ton a furnaces with trunks and leave your character afk next to them. It’s almost the same thing.
900 x roughly 1 minute x 12 xp x # of furnaces = ?
This will award xp for 15 hours. But, you could just log off and collect it after you log on with an xp pie.
Other games have this such as Ark, but in ark you still run out of food while afk and die of starvation.
They would have to verify that you are active by checking if you are doing activities, not doing the same activity over and over, and moving around but not to repetitive locations.
That said, this game awards xp for practically everything so it would just be easier to slightly boost all xp.
