just a passing thought. … …
why not add torches for the more exotic materials
two reasons really
it would balance the look of my shelves
you could add some cool effects like blink strobe torches.
a prismatic torch would look cool to as it slowly changes color.

I +1 this suggestion. Was one I’ve been thinking about for a little while now. Could be really interesting

I would like torches with those resources plus some with gleam as well.
It would also be nice to make exo gem and gem lanterns too.

I want an Oort scepter (or totem?) that is encrusted with all types of gems and lucent gems as a display of wealth! I dont care for the difficulty of the recipe. I need to rule my mansion in style!

We need more uses for the lucents anyway so this is an excellent idea!
Also, we need doors made out of gems and lucents! Preferably in different styles as well, ornate, etc.

YESS. Add to that lucent gem wearables and throne for some extravagant luxury lifestyle xD.

I’d be all for lucent torches. But need an Oort torch too

Oort torches that automatically begin to light up in the dark, whereas they do nothing in the daytime.
It’d make the way for some possible future implementations of “daylight sensors”, etc. if that’d ever become relevant.

Ohh you gave me an idea.
Lucent torches can be forged as a detector…lights up when close to umbris, rift or blink.
Though when torches are placed they work as a normal torch.
