There are a number of updates planned that will help with this issue:
- A proposal to have control over who plots near you:
- A proposal to normalise the prestige values and system:
- Introduction of Guilds that will give you permanent control over the name of your Guilds aligned beacons. (A bit like an opt-in Settement.)
I think that these things will all contribute to giving you more control.
