Well, claiming resources is a part of the game. Whether you agree or not
What is the purpose having surface resources if you can put up farm for everything?
Sure this would be good for shop owners cause they wouldnt need to even buy the beans after that.
Putting everything āvaluableā and āusefulā for farming is not good in my opinion⦠as it takes away big part of the game. Sure it reduces grinding in the long run , but this aint minecraft
⦠you can do these farm things for minecraft cause theres no real economy involved (unless you play on some specific server).
Sure theres things i would like to ramble about this on and on but leave it just there.
Not everyone likes to maintain large farms. Im still buying farming goods from others because I got bored from doing it myself.
If we get more crops the same will happen, not everyone will start a farm even if they need the crops specially if they need huge farms. It will be just another option to get resources
If the issue of farming generating too many valuable beans is an issue, you could just reduce the crop droprate for bean crops to balance it out more.
It provides the option to farm without taking away the viability of gathering.
Did you ever try to farm large quantities of anything? IT IS a lot of grinding!
Grinding will be a thing with both methods but at least when they can be farmed it means you can get them with a bit of effort.
Bean prices are thru the roof at the moment and this behaviour will make them go up even more. If they wonāt be resource gatherable after a while because of this then we have a problem, which is not good in my opinionā¦
Actually yes.
That was in early access and item was fibrous leaf.
Almost every bigger shop owner got their leaves / sackcloth from me.
There was no farming in early access tho??? Or did they remove it and later re-added it?
I do not feel comfortable judging someone who is following the game rulesā¦who gives any of us the right? If someone is violating the TOS that is a different story
Well apparently others around you can complain enough and if one gets a few others to do so and do so everyday to the devs. Then the devs will go spend 6 months of development to put a system in place to resolve how certain players used there plot claims and building. Yes yes now lets get together and complain to the devs some more about this to get them to spend another 6 months working on a system to implement in game to resolve players plotting over harvesting spots
Off topic, but I donāt understand why my original comment got flagged. Its perfectly on topic.
Hmm ur right u seem to be referencing topic and making analogy about it! I would think post would get flags over referring to someone as a male body part.
I mean it wasnt aimed at anyone in particular, nor do I see the issue with it, but each to their own.
ĀÆ\ _ (ć) _ /ĀÆ
I know you wasnt directing at anyone. Was relating certain actions of someone would do, to a body part.
Iām a new player. If i wanted to preserve a hotspot for a resource, do I just have to plot above or below it?
Yup, as long as the spawn plot isnāt plotted things will respawn in it.
Plot either above or below it. If you plot directly on it, it wonāt regenerate.
Probably because you used the given name of a former vice president of the United States and politics arenāt allowed.
Welcome to boundless
@AeneaGames & @Buugi understand the hit in the market it might get.
But all farmable resources got that hit⦠so I donāt understand the problem.
Atm prices keep going up of several items because they are simply a pain to even grind for in the end.
Even if these items where to get cheaper in the end i would (like others im sure) still keep buying them, simply because it saves me from from losing time on doing something I donāt want to spend time doing.
Also in the end, end product can be made more cheaper and more accessible to more players old and new a like.
Just how i see it.
Ok so i was just not following you⦠you meant Farming and i meant gathering surface stuff wich i prefer call farming when you collect large amountsā¦
My bad.
And no there was no Farming in EA.
