Yah, I found that one and I visit at least once a day. It’s a great place for RR also. (I meant the are around the TNT portal on Bers)
On the first halloween event, I gathered rosetta and took them to a T5 or T6 to get a better drop rate. I tested a couple hundred on T1 and the T5/T6 if I remember and the drop seemed better, but not enough to make me do it again lol
As advertised, I basically found the planet tier doesn’t seem to have any noticeable effect. After a couple rounds of that I just bring them to T1 for easy smashing.
Haven’t done it since last halloween though.

That was such a huge pain I haven’t been encouraged to do it since.
Those spots are really good. If the footfall is not enough to keep those portal opened please add some donation baskets. After visiting all the portals 1-2 times I can see these are some spots that I will be visiting often and I feel obliged to donnate some Oort/feather/beans.

Thankyou! Those spots are exceptional, yeah. That’s why we provide access to them. And tbh a handful of 1x2 portals is pretty easy to keep open and your contributing to them just by using the network. However, yeah if you want to contribute more, we have a buy and donation baskets in the middle of the main hub (the Megahub). Putting oort into any of those baskets are ALWAYS appreciated!!!

Yea the drop rate is better. But you essentially double your time doing this method when you could have just spent it on the t5+ planet and come out ahead with less tool usage.

Hey Monkey, yeah, its too much work to bother with.
I got the same “seeming” results when harvesting with fist, by breaking the block under the plant. with yur AoE were you perhaps breaking the block beneath?
I also have no hard data, just seemed like every plant was dropping 2 to me
No unless the cluster is just a straight line you have to make sure you hit the top of the plant’s hitbox to hit surrounding plants.
Larger numbers on what you’re saying might be interesting though as there was some other discussion when goo released that seemed to indicate that breaking the block a plant is on negated the effects of luck and/or the gathering epic.

indeed! And I almost didnt want to look into it, cause farming with a fist is not very fun… IF for some reason i found out there is a bigger take from it… i would do it… and be bored =P
Kindling kernels are going for THAT much?!!? Sheesh I gotta start selling these things! I do concrete in real life, so I don’t mess with it in game. 12hrs a day at work is enough for me haha!
I gotta find where people are selling these bitter beans at too! I have a nice stack of them and I don’t forge high end tools for myself. Oh, wait …eff! Nevermind, my base was cleaned out of bitter and sweet beans. I gotta check the permissions on this place. (Sigh)

and after that we have to save the hot spots 4 the community…

Does the level of planet influence the drop rate when breaking them I wonder…
I believe there are already 2 spots on besevrona that have been sky-plotted, to prevent plotting of the beans tundra. Not sure where they are though.
I think someone said before it doesn’t for beans but it does for orbs? Don’t quote me.
