Changing the domain is very easy. A little $ is all it takes.
It’s easy to change the name in Steam, it’s just not something people do that often.

And the name is very important to the game it’s self.
I have a working theory that this rebranding is a prelude to a major content release. The timing of this is very suspect. The steam release last year was at this same time. Photos evidence now shows the devs are holding working content back. We know Christmas is the most important time of year for sales. The best way to generate sales is a major content release. Put it all together, and you get the picture.
Just going to set expectations now and let you know it’s not, but we are working hard (as always) on new content and releases.

I really love the new name. Oort Online was a bit difficult to speak to people at times, but Boundless feels amazingly fitting, easy to get across to other people, and very… Elegant, in an odd way. I can see why the team got behind the idea!
