Brick Mixture rebalance needed

Bro, that’s the worst justification of any.

Yea ofc Bricks are nice to have but I see them as high mid and endgame items when you want you home to look nice otherwise everone would make them ^^ we should have someting to grind for

Bricks make homes look nice. If everyone had them, everyone’s homes would look nice. Are you saying that we should all have mudhuts until endgame? That doesn’t compute.

you could use normal rock, stone or even rifine them bricks is not a must

Nothing is a must. The point is that we have automated machines that do the heavy lifting, yet we aren’t technologically advanced enough to create affordable housing? It seems like a priority of a species to have viable homes to protect them from the elements, especially if they can’t wear pants.

not every species are like humans sure they may have found a way to space travel and make machines but it does not mean that things are easy to make or should be

Like pants?!

they might like the air who knows

Bricks looks nice, and refined blocks looks so ugly. Every time I see a good building made of refined meta it brakes my heart. They look so bad, you cannot even see which color they are made from. Perhaps if they remove that glossy effect from the refined meta they can become a cheaper option.
If I have to choose a block for my walls meta brick is the nicer and perhaps refined igneous. I think this is why I still have most of my walls made of timber

It seems that they have no problem with accessorizing when cubits are involved.

Mastered?! We are scavengers at best… our tech is limited to simple crafting tables and stone furnaces… to make anything beyond that we have to junk-yard-scrap ancient Oort technology together into crud crafting devices :stuck_out_tongue:

And here I thought the gem decorative blocks were the end game. Why must all the blocks be mid to end game?

Here is how I see it used or should be used
Rocks (start game)
Stone (start game and to endgame)
Refined stone and wood (mid game)
Decorative gems, wood and Bricks (High mid and endgame

I think bricks are fine now but I’ll like them to get even harder to get if we dont get new blocks

We will have to agree to disagree on this one. Since I view the game as a building game first, I do not think that any of the existing blocks should be harder to get than they are now. I would like them simpler. As far as adding new blocks. . I am always for more options.

Pants are coming, btw. Should be very soon. There was a fibrous leaf shortage, so the sweatshops were down for a bit.

It’s because the game isn’t complete yet. We only have Low and Mid tier stuff. World levels 7, 8, and 9, which aren’t out yet, have the high end game stuff.

Everything that’s ‘End Game’ right now. Diamods, Power, Titanium and stuff? That’s all Mid Tier. That’s the Basics. That’s the easy stuff.

Which is why it pisses off so many people that it’s so hard to get and maintain at that level.

What do you feel is the correct balance of resources and time? I’d take what you have and put it in a list with a comparison feature.

in my opinion now bricks are easier to get in mass quantities then before. im using tons of bricks in my build and since the patch its way easier for me

Our scavenging space faring race can make bricks. In fact, we’re so advanced we can trade for bricks! I live in a brick house, my previous company owned a clay brick quarry and production facility; i can promise you it would take me ages to make the bricks that i live in. Granted, I’m not a brickmaker - see where I’m going with this one?

I definitely agree that changes need to be fully documented in patch notes.

I disagree that the brick changes are a problem. 4 brick yield per a mixture is excellent, and the change added a use for mud and ash to the recipe table. Now the new/scavenger players have a couple more easily accessible, tier 1 items to sell me for coin. Sure, it might take me longer to gather enough material for a mass craft, but quality builds don’t happen overnight, especially in a sandbox MMO
