It forces the same amount of visible blocks yeah, but hopefully people aren’t going to make giant forests of them

sorry some persons understand me wrong and i understand they wrong
after a short discusion in teamspeak i found the communication problem ![]()
sry i will not transparent back i will a light shining throw and this need nearly no performance
the only one who understand me correct ^^
yes in the first version it was transperence, that need a lot of performance. but shining throw not.
you missunderstand me ^^ and will no transperent i will only that the light shining throw it.
But last but not least @james had understand me correct and all is fine ^^
Ah sorry about that then I assumed that you meant like real transperency as you continued the issue after James confirmation ^.^
I’m not sure how @jesshyland has configured the current lanterns but I don’t see why they couldn’t be tinted in the same way many of the blocks are. This would mean that with the correct resources you would be able to craft different lighting configs. The same should be true for torches, and all props in general. The original colour tints should pass through the crafting pipeline. (I’m aware that the full tinting + crafting + prop is still in development.)
This is fantastic news, really looking forward to this
More of an AI issue (and I know you’re working to improve it for 1.0) that I noticed tonight. A spitter was trying to follow @Heureka but Heureka was underground. So the spitter was sort of shuffling along the service and spitting at the ground every so often.
I tried to prntscreen it. It didn’t take at first so I spammed the button and my game crashed.
You can make a torch float if you put one on a door or trapdoor and remove the door/trapdoor behinde it.
It doesn’t even have to be on a door- any block will do.
You’re right, didn’t test that^^ corrected it^^
Edit: also Wall blocks do not combine to a full block.
Edit2: And you can not place blocks on the underside of stairs. If you attempt to you build on top of the stairs and if you try it with a block already above the stair you simply can’t place a block.
I have tried to start the C++ beta, but every time I do, my steam window says it is running for a short time, and then syncs the game and stops running. Originally I would get an error message (don’t remember what), but I allowed it to just collect info and it stopped appearing. After trying to run the boundless.exe in the files, I got this error. I re-installed boundless, and the same problem happened.
The Boundless install is incomplete. You need to try reinstalling. The game will not work without the packages it depends on.
Additionally what OS + version are you running?
I think you have to unsubscribe from the beta and reinstall the normal game.
AH! thank u!!
I’m running windows 7 Home Premium
The AI mobs right now make a really annoying sound when they walk,it seems like they trigger the sound multiple times in a fraction of a second compared to the player. If you fixed that it would be great!
Welp, I figured out real quick that you cannot claim lands with beacons yet, I tried to place a beacon and my game crashed now everytime I try to load up into the game my game continues to crash – was not having this problem without using attempting to place a beacon – however now I cannot play
Yes, i noticed this too…LOL i thought i was being followed, it really creeped me out…phantom footsteps behind u!!
That missing the Visual Studio 2015 redistribuatables. They should be installed by Steam but you can manually do it https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145
