I will more then gladly allow you to build your hearts dream on any of my Sovs you just msg me ok?
For the record, we had a major griefer in our city. After some days of building and seeming ok, he started demanding tools, mats, and plots from all of us. If we didnât give him anything, heâd do whatever he could think of to harass us within the rules. At one point he blocked off every expansion road I had leading out of town and pretty much started a new city next to ours. Nothing we could do but try to reason with him.
Then he snapped and plotted around the entire city and tried to build a 2-plot high wall of deep yellow soil around it. That was officially griefing. Someone submitted screenshots along with a long history of conversations with him and he was kicked. After another attempt, he was kicked again and told he couldnât build on Sorissi anymore.
Few months later he came back and plotted and covered the main river running through town. I asked him what his plan was (all I said), and he replied that he wasnât breaking rules so I couldnât do anything about it⌠James was there 5 minutes later removing his beacon, because there was a new rule for him to not build on Sorissi.
It took him doing something very blatantly against the rules for us to have that safety net. We were lucky he went so far. Otherwise, we would have had to deal with it. Sucks, but itâs the game and Iâve accepted it.
Of course you can create a large, prestigious build on a Homeworld - to get the Viceroy achievement. It only counts once though. You would still need to adhere to the other rules while doing so.
The rules are clear and easy to understand, as long as you donât ruin the experience of other players everythingâs fine, those who donât want to adapt to the rules have no place in boundless.
Itâs not up to us to dictate the rules, itâs up to us to follow them.
Why insist on changing the rules when theyâve already been established?
You had a great Roman or greek style build I visited often.
Yes this is exactly why rules are important and Im sorry that happened to you.
Thats very vague. Ive seen people getting uncomfortable from using only their portals or looking at them for prolonged time because one is afk or because you place a vase and foliage on top of each other and the other person thinks to own copyrights on it.
If i ruin someones gameplay by little things like that, shall i give in? Or is it them that try to spoil my gameplay because they want to dictate me what to do?
Common sense and communication goes a long way.
Jealousy⌠just ignore. As James stated before people should grow a thicker skin when silly things happen.
Follow the simple rules and if needed, report people.
If people did the wrong thing then it will be corrected by Devs or even get (temp) banned.
It is not that complicated and @Tiggs can help out for sure.
Be happy and have fun !!!

I would just use the reasonable person standard. Would a reasonable person think that doing X was right or wrong. If you have trouble assessing that for yourself, maybe find a reasonable person and ask them before you decide to do something you are not sure about.
No one here is in a position to dictate anything.
No one here should order you to play this way or that way.
We all have to respect the rules, not adapt them to our whims.
Everyone is free to build in their own way and according to their own abilities.
Some people get to the point where they have to spy on others and complain? Is this a joke?
Iâve come to the point where I forbid my children to interact with others for fear theyâll be reported for nothing, because some people are allergic to social interaction or to kids.
Donât be surprised if the player base doesnât grow, itâs normal, weâre all responsible for what happens.
Totally. Itâs not a kids friendly game. Most people expect an adult in front of them but actually we shouldnât not expect nor assume anything at all.
Amen to that. Said it already in the past but some people donât like to be told they carry a shared responsibility.
I have an Allergic reaction to social interaction but
you all the same ![]()

Thanks
probably my HSE guild hall I havenât even finished after 4 years. Been popping over there from time to time to work on the interior ad nauseam. Crazy how much more creatively draining interiors are on me, compared to the giant buildings theyâre in.
Ok then please point to where she confirmed plotting rules? or whats considered encroaching? Iâll wait for it. maybe I missed it.
Why are you posting that Im here to get a public response so everyone can see. Please just stop.
Ok at this point youre trolling I asked you nicely to stop.Youve personally msged me and now you trolling my post so yeah maybe I will use the support link if you keep on this path.
Tiggs (Monumental Employee) and MajorVex (Forums Moderator appointed by Monumental) already answered your question. Please scroll up and read what was said. The rules are worded the way they are because it is impossible to write every single possible issue. That is why they say contact the Devâs via email for any issues you find or think is an issue and they will review.
