Time for the [Chromis I] --[T3 - Rugged Lush Sovereign World]-- [Active] theme survey for February!

We didn’t get any suggestions, so they are all Valentine’s Day themes.

  • Love (Reds & pinks)
  • Loss (Dark blues, purples, blacks, etc)
  • Better to have loved and lost… (Both love and loss)
  • Burning Passion (Fire colors - reds, oranges, bright blues)

The February color theme is:

Frozen Heart

Color description was “Icy blues and whites”, but to be honest, I’m just going to try to channel Elsa on this one.

The results of this one have been really interesting. At first it was almost unanimous Frozen Heart, but it’s evened out a lot now… Aside from loved and lost…? I guess people don’t think “reds, pinks, dark blues, and blacks” would look good.

Really fun to watch the results change over time, though!

There is a little irony in icy colors winning, since there is no ice on Chromis I.

To keep it a bit in theme of Lovestruck , all of em can be Silk Magenta
It is unlocked but no planet has them currently :wink:

I’m glad the results on the focus of color selection is very clear. I try to make sure the colors both match the theme and are not already available, but sometimes I have trouble finding enough unique colors. This tells me I can go a little bit off-theme to make sure colors are “new”.

February colors are up, and the main Chomis I thread is updated!

We’re now taking theme suggestions for March. I don’t know when spring starts? Should we be doing spring themes?

Looks like we’ve got an equinox in March, so probably an equinox theme? Not sure what that would look like, so I think we really need suggestions this time!

For whatever reason, St Patricks day wasn’t showing up on my google searches for March holidays? If spring is in March, I’ll definitely put up a spring option. I don’t really have seasons here, so thanks for the heads up :slight_smile:

17th is st. Patricks day for usa at least’ and the vernal equinox (spring) is more or less the 20th depending on where you are in the northern hemisphere. And the 12th is chinese new years. Though i do not know if its their 12th or the 12th in the usa.
Edit: international earth day is the 20th as well.

I think some strong greens and/or bright and pale primary spring colors would work well. Not just for St. patrick’s day for for spring in general.

Strong/deep/bright green and viridian
pale/bright blue, yellow, red etc.
