Clarification about Etiquette for Trading section and Discord

As the trading section of the forum has gotten busier, I’ve noticed an increase in hostile threads. It’s usually someone complaining about someone else’s price being too expensive, etc… Personally, I’m all for free markets. And the threads regarding forged items are comical. But I don’t want to see a shop owner or possible buyer thread getting hijacked. My suggestions below to the moderators. I think you’ll need to find a way to word this better as it’s all in the semantics:

  • Participants shouldn’t mention about how expensive another person’s prices is. It just creates threadnaughts and derails the OP
  • A buyer starts a thread looking for whatever. It is okay for competitor A to chime in with his offer. And competitor B can chime in as well but can’t directly mention Competitor A in any sort of bad light that would trigger Competitor A

As for the Shopping and Trading section of Discord, I think it’s polite. My only complaint is the occasional person spamming their wares consantly. Perhaps a shop owner is only allowed to promote their stuff once a day/24 hour time period?

Thanks in advance,
Deen

they should be allowed thats what sellers do ever been to a market and heard a seller say is a average price lol

if they both sell same thing diferent price then putting people in bad light has nothing to do with the selling and should be covered by the code off conduct

to long if people are pasionate about selling and marketing the shop they should be allowed to do more shout-outs but def no spamming but who can decide when it becomes spamming

was trying to start a page like the screenshot page extreme basic concept
you post shop info prices and request on there and it creates an archive
oOo.oOo.oOo SHOP'S AND PRICE'S oOo.oOo.oOo this doesnt need conversation just info
