Exactly, people will need to be more accountable for their pricing due to more competition / extra avenues of sourcing colours. That’s a good thing, isn’t it?

I would agree. I think the market would see a lot more movement and we’d see a lot more interest to be involved in the economy. Exo prices can poleaxe newer player’s dreams pretty quickly. Its a lot of beans collected to get some of the older stuff lol.

before things like 3x3 hammers were introduced, rock had a slightly higher price. after it was introduced now you can literally get 10 rocks for a coin.
The thing that dropped the price of rock was that we couldn’t give anything a partial coin price on release, so the lowest things could cost was 1c. Though you can still sell rocks for 1c to xp farmers.
Edit: And the reduction of xp for rock -> stone.
