Death toll

Agree with this too. people should be able to kill you on sight without getting a penalty even on PVE worlds if you are tagger red.

Or have a reputation system, where you get negative reputation when you attack/kill people, and it goes down over time. More negative rep means higher % of losing items.

in my eyes that kinda seems to make raiding ‘‘bad’’

instead of negative call it like blood counter or something, tracing how much blood you have on your hands and will punish you accordingly.

blood on your hands doesn’t implie badness?

Maybe get less blood on your hands if the person you attacked PKs a lot. :stuck_out_tongue:

That would actully go great into the game though its not a feature that we should bother the devs with.

the more green/white/yellow whatever players you kill, the higher a blood counter you get on, making dying worse because you will be judged by the gods!! (lets call it that for lore) and you would have a chance of losing some of your gear pieces.

while on the other side you would have ‘‘Justice’’ or ‘‘Enforcer’’ that would increase the more red players you kill. getting some kind of small buff, or a title.

No. it doesnt imply that it is bad, it implies that is nasty and shady bussiness.

instead of having Negative and Positive bars or even Good vs Evil bars, call it something else, because a person who kills other people is not neccesarily ‘‘evil’’ like a person who kills the killers arent really ‘‘good’’

which is why its called Blood Points and Justice Points or something like that.

ok yea but that’s different in everybodys mind^^

more like 6 hours if you’re going for diamond everything.

No fricken blood points or any of that ■■■■! It’s wholly unnecessary to a game like this. If I wanna be a heartless murderer I’ll go do that without having to worry about karma. Similarly If I want to be a bro I’d go do that as well, because being nice is it’s own reward sometimes. A player’s face value is something that a system doesn’t have to explain. If a player is a real garbage human, word will spread. Similarly If some dude is trying to lop my head off I can assume he’s not just being a pal. It’s just another feature in the already bloated list of things rpg people want. Games don’t have to be complex to be fun. Simplicity is key.

It just need to be made very clear that PvP is dangerous area and if people don’t want to loose high level gear they should use their lower level gear instead.

Yes some people are going to complain but sometimes you need to remove some priority to make the idiots happy and add some priority to make the game balanced.

This is an interesting variation too

If you know what you are doing 2 hours is generally enough.

I’m down for that too, but the marker system would be a little bit better for casual players.

Yes, but this system… that is why i don’t like it, you lose more for just being a killer and i find that unbalanced too

I agree with you, no karma system, but in pvp i think full loot would be the better option  onlly in pvp worlds

There is already a precedent for this one. Only, it is probably not necessary to drop the gold.

Just put your gold in a safe place instead of having it always with you…

Depends on what kind of game play you want. If you want people to travel from world to world buying stuff with local economies, then dropping gold is probably a terrible idea. However, if there is one economy and banks, auction houses are together in safe places, then it is not a big deal.

But there is no better way to ruin a game then to take something someone worked a month for and have it drop because of an unexpected battle. There are limits to everything.

So go for a pure PVP culture like Darkfall with full loot where everything is worthless or go the opposite direction where everything is valuable and nothing drops. I am fine either way, but don’t make very valuable things drop because that is a deal breaker.

No safe place for “money” like the shards and stuff. If they are needed for all important stuff, then you should not be able to put them away. Losing them hurts, so they should be part of the death toll, cuz death should be pain

I am up for full gold and mat drops and nothing else. they talked about chests which are universal. so if you place it on one world and put a sword in there and place it in another world then you can take your sword there.

jepp, that is also what I prefer … may be not ALL mats and gold but a part, but jeah, equip and armor should not be dropped.
