We used to be plentiful with our shameless plugs back when the great @uni3k was our marketing man.
So be warned many more shameless plugs are inbound(less).
Also I can promise cheese lots of cheese

Don’t stress it IMO.

Having naught else to focus on and trying to cater to this crowd has never proven beneficial. These guys actually have better stuff to do right now.

Tiggs is active I’m sure that if they feel the issue demands attention it will get to the right ears. TBF if they want to consider the game individually instead of just slapping on a “standard monumental ruleset” made for gacha or whatever it would be good to take a minute and catch up some history.

Rush rush rush is not what we need and nobody has been banned from this game for botting for years (if ever). IDK does monumental have any console properties? Might be the first time thinking about partners like sony, mixed player base, etc… Just speculating I’ve done minimal research on them.

I will say one thing. This happens in a lot of places, but around here trying to demand “fast” has often led to “poorly handled”. Like if you try and demand an answer right now you might not like the answer

From what I understand: Your little body is manhandled in a pipe strewn with a trampoline. You are ejected while your keyboard keys are blocked so that infinitely you lay blocks and break them automatically along this pipe. In short, it’s crazy interesting

All it needs is a “yes carry on” or “please avoid for time being”. That will at least tell ys whether there is potential punishment down thebline or not

@Zjawcia basically what @anon13882659 said. You keep jump button pressed down to keep jumping on the trampolines. These trampolines either shoots you in the direction of the sloped trampolines and the flat ones keeps your speed up by bouncing you back and forth with the ice. Then you keep moving constantly and can make massive ice tracks for many different purposes.

That’s very ingenious, congratulations :+1::clap:

Ovis figured out how the gliding track works, I just used the idea to make an automated farm. So I can’t take credit for that but thank you non the less!:heart:

Thus, the reason for the row

There’s been no change in policy. It’s not “no holds barred” because someone changed the picture on the loading screen. ToS, CoC, EtC… all still apply until they’re changed.

If you’re confident the arrangement was in compliance with the existing policy when you posted it, there’s no reason to worry about change … until things change.

All the squabbling on the forum can’t change that. If you’re not confident, remove or re-title the tutorial and wait for some guidance. If “I thought this might upset you so I just left it there and waited for you to tell me to stop” is how you want to roll, roll on.

I want to add that obviously unlike some others here -I don’t think they need a demo video to answer the question at hand. It’s either cool to advertise AFK grinding to avoid supporting the game, or it’s not.

If it’s cool - we’re going to be flooded with ways to do it.

Seems like a good share of the opinions have been positive towards these machines, and besides, if you watch a movie and just hold down the buttons, they are totally man-maneuvered and thus okay to use.

This is exactly how I understand it. It’s that time/value equation, and the issue isn’t what you’re doing in the game - it’s walking away and collecting the value, without investing your time.

EDIT: It’s the equivocation that drives me crazy, but I’ve had a nice rest and a good meal and burnt out about it anyways. It seems like such a simple thing.

I have made the farm even faster (like 50% faster) but who’s gonna use it if AFKing is not allowed?

Sounds like you are going to use it. I was in a hunt and crafted a ton of things the past few days and gained about 15 levels granted I was not AFK and actually enjoyed my time

I don’t personally care and have a bit of respect for players who try to min-max games and figure out tricks, exploits and ways to “bypass” the way the game intends you to play it.

Whether or not everyone agrees with it I think some of the points @Nightstar was trying to make was that this might get nerfed or fixed so you can’t do this and in essence if it did it could affect others and the way they play the game even when they weren’t using this method to collect XP. If the devs felt the need to remove this sort of XP farm maybe they will remove trampolines. This is kind of the point then that would affect anyone who used trampolines. It’s just cause and effect.

I applaud the build, but it is something I don’t care to use simply because I feel it’s a bit cheaty/exploity/lazy.

As long as I press down the buttons myself it should be fair game. There are so many ways to fix this without nerfing the game or functions of blocks.

We are just trying to see what is possible to do in the game as it currently is. If it’s deemed as not okay it would have to be fixed regardless as this is now out there and someone else will use it or will find another way to use it.

But I find that it’s kind if ironic that this is a sandbox game called Boundless and people get somewhat mad when “boundaries” are put to to the test.

People like nitpicking it’s these days mainstream

Not that this was at me, but it doesn’t make me mad in the least. It is just not my cup of tea.

If it’s not software assisted and you’re physically present enough to react if someone comes up to chat with you, it is not possible to know how you are doing it.

I guess they could send a person to your house to spy on you, but that sounds like overkill.
