I wanna make my grass glow but make gleam stars above but not too low were it becomes a nuisance lol

Depending on what color you want to use (complimentary to your colors) it depends how high to go but i used dark orange deco gleam about 2-3 blocks it reaches. If i used the lanterns it was to bright (mainly because of the ice ceiling).

I understand why the lanterns tough. But even then its more a trail and error thing, depending on the color you use. White has the strongest illumination any color and the illumination drops depending on the color and the color strength. :wink:

Well your not sciency approach is really the best way to see it :wink: instead of all those confusing charts (by numbers but I couldn’t make heads or tails from those).

@BabyCookie thx for the :cookie: and hope you tested it unless you use white (as I believe @RedY3 did in the shots). Because there really is a distance drop of if its colored. :kissing_heart:
