the “meteorite respawn” rate for each region has been greatly shortened for gleambows to accommodate for the smaller variety of worlds spawning them

Why theres no pies in da meteor boxes?
Thats the real question.

Yeah I was one of those lucky people, came back thru a sanctum warp after taking 5 to one landing maybe 20-50 plots away. Mwhahaha :smiling_imp::slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @rossstephens any talk of buffing the ice pop to last a little longer or be eaten a little faster?

For costing a food buff spot it doesn’t last long enough to cross some water, so if you are using it to explore to get meteors you are using several.

It feels clunky how long it takes to eat them and they run out so quick!

I mean even 2 minutes + zeal would be nice. I just want to run across water without having to grapple. If I am grappling island to island…then it was a waste to really use it. Wanted to run out into the ocean and just run across!

Not sure if that is possible, but I will keep asking heheh

This event is always somewhat frustrating for me due to render issues. it’s more of a game of hide and go seek than a gleambow race. Now you see the meteor, now you don’t.

then again with mass craft you get i think 150? so thats kinda the trade off i guess

Gleambow Hunt yesterday on Cirp. Started out as @MrNiX, @Envyv77 & I and wound up a lot bigger! Had lots of fun!

We played for awhile. People would leave drop stuff off and then come back. Rinse and repeat.

Question on gleambow timers: as I played yesterday it seemed like the timers on meteors were getting shorter throughout the day. By the end of the night I could never complete a meteor, by the time I got to them they were dead already (I got lots in the morning with 1+ minute left). Do the timers vary based on anything other than RNG? I’m willing to accept that I just got unlucky, but want to strategize if possible :sunglasses:

But I mean, thank gosh those timers started shortening on me. It was only the 10th or so in a row meteor dying as I approached that convinced me to finally go to bed yesterday LOL

The more failed meteors the longer the timer gets. More successful the shorter the timer gets. Iirc

So are timers based on who gets to the meteor first, or are based on who triggered them to fall?

And part two of that question: is that failure rate that the timer is considering based on my own personal success/failures with meteors, or the overall planet’s success/failures?

It’s overall for the planet. And not sure how to answer the first part of your question. I don’t think I understand it.

Yeah the first question doesn’t make sense then lol. Thanks for your help!!

The times of gleambow do change! They are based of the “world timer” and “player timer”. Timers get shorter or longer depending on how well players performed various actions in a gleambow (such as reaching it, winning it, and killing gleamtrunks).
Each player has their own timer and so does each world.
When a gleambow meteorite is spawned it takes into account both the spawning player’s timer and the world’s timer.

Is this working correctly? I missed about 10 in a row and still get 5 second timers on lvl 1’s that i cant reach
