relatively new player - 2-3 months now -
What I want/need and end up making crappy results on myself are
AXE with AOE 1x2 or 1x3 with some auto loot and some extra damage so it will one-shot T1-T4 needs lots of SAP - auto loot useful when hanging from the branches
Shovels 3x3 for soils/gravel/ash
I’ve been buying cheap meat for a neighbor who needs essence and we trade - it works out.
places I wont sell -
I wont sell to you if you have both buy & sell baskets for the same items with a HUGE price gap - Its a warning flag to me that neither price is realistic. (pstt I’ll buy for 1c and sell same for 30) /eyeroll
How neew are a player are we talking? I didn’t need oort until i had my own little shop network, as doing 1 hunt would literally fuel my 2 portals for 3 months. I sold all my oort
My number 1 thing i needed as a new player, was affordable AOE gem tools. Fortunately, the owner of Sydney has a range of budget aoe tools. These are essentially tools with quirks, priced down to be only 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a regulard unquirked tool. To this day i still buy one every now and then.
So my list was:
Affordable gem tools
Brick ingredients
Glass ingredients
Speed potion
Persisting pies
Farming starter supplies
Coils
Lootstick
Affordable hunt weapon (i used to go with golden fists)
I cant think of anything else i bought.
I started in august this year. If you’re a new player and you mine and gather, you can be self-sufficient for a lot of simple stuff. I used to buy a tool, go mining, sell some of the ores (and gems later) im sydney, buy a new tool and use the leftover stuff for my builds.
Honestly the number 1 thing i needed as a new player, was information. I asked sooooo many questions. I can 100% guarantee i wouldve quit at the gem-gap if it hadn’t been for the super helpful aussie community discord.
Edit: oops i misread! Ehm, yeah i literally buy everything and i have a lot of odd jobs i pay my local aussies quite well for. I actually created a topic a while ago to see what people bought, let me find it!
I buy all the beans I can if it’s a fair price, teaching pies have been very hard to make lately, it sucks it takes over 500 sweet beans to make a mass craft of those pies
