Scanned … nothing to write home about.

6 hammers? Might have been 7 :man_shrugging:

Only 12 goo, how disappointing

An accident, for sure. Even at 180m + altitude there were some caves. I threw away a couple stacks of rock salt to keep them, though. If’ I’d have had another hammer they would have gotten tossed, too

I went and mapped it, grabbed a bit of petrolim and a few goo, still less than 50 - there were some yellow spots for umbris so I came back to mine. I thought I grabbed a stack of hammers when I went, but it turned out to be only a partial. There were a couple of others there tearing it up by the time I got back, too.

It was only the second or third time I ever mined more than a SS of lucent, and I have several extractor queues full with those fossils. Other than a quick peek and some testing last week, I haven’t even visited a T7 in … a long time. Well worth it.

did anyone else noticed? almost every of last month or so exos got 90% of perma world planets and few colors selectable at sovs, there was only 1 sov with new color and ot was one of flower i think?

last few or more exos even lucent one got no only exo colors…

when lasy time we got low tier exo? not even single low tier exo from my return…

lucent exos without rare exo xolors? waste of time since only few players can dry planet of lucent and resin/petrolim completly

if there is no rare color of woodrock/foliage to farm im not even warp to exo, just pure waste of money

i wish they will exclude perma world colors from select on exo planets

I disagree. While it is quite disappointing to not get any new colors, Exos still provide some resources you can’t get anywhere else.

Lucent Ore
You can’t get this from anywhere else.

Goo
Probably the main reason I go to an Exo other than for a specific rare color of something that can’t be painted. Rare colors of things that can’t be painted though are far more valuable to me.

Kindling and Combustion
While some sovs and homeworlds do have combustion it’s not near as much as an Exo.

Primordial Resin & Petrolim
Once again you can’t really get this anywhere else other than an Exo.

On top of all of that, rare colors of wood and rock are easy to come by. Just buy some spray paint and paint it. Foliage on the other hand … that is worth it.

As @Nightstar pointed out he could sell what he mined on the Exo and make a profit. The Umbris alone is worth a bit. I know in my show alone, just the umbris would fetch about 136,000 coins for the 334 I am buying.

I’m sure the easy petrolim gets picked up but no single player is taking 37 stacks of petrolim or 65 stacks of goo in a hurry.

As far as the money, I did spend maybe 65 - 75k coins to warp twice, on a few hammers and some brews and pies as well. That’s leaving maybe 10x profit, if I were to sell all of those raw materials. Maybe only 8x if you put them in baskets.

It’s super easy to make coins on a T7 planet. As far as what’s a waste of time, that’s a personal call. For me it was a nice trip, I haven’t done it in a long time.

Yeah I came back because I’m under 200k coin again and this chat reminded me how much money is here. I wasn’t mining to sell anything, after all.

I could have tooled better but it’s nt problem to gather goo here, with baskets at 100c plus.

By this time I’ve gathered 658 goo and since the petrolim is in caves I have 334 of them without going out of my way.

UPDATE:

My axe just broke. I brought an axe and a liquid breaker since I thought I was coming for petrolim but the goo was too easy. Tip: Make sure you have an axe or something with magnet on it. I couldn’t even do any grapple work I had to take stuff I could walk or swim close to.

2653 goo kernels, 610 petrolim, 643 combustion/kindling seed, and some minor junk. About 90 minutes. (I changed those numbers I didn’t realize the stacks mixed)

Some others showed up after I posted last (not saying it was related  ) But this place is crazy, there’s so much stuff.

I’m just going to warp out and go get some coin, but I’ll probably come again with more appropriate tools. Crazy

My last edit here: Over 300k in less than 2 hours including a snack break IRL

I used up part of a liquid breaker, an unforged sapphire axe, and some wear on my grapples. Awesome thanks to all the buyers as well with nice prices in baskets.

Hey so I haven’t gotten out to the Exo much but am buying rocks. Off the side of Norkyna hub on Pharao’s Network… if ya have rocks you’re throwing away. Specific to this Exo colors and types.

limited to the baskets and their funds… 1c per rock

Thanks!
