This is the 6th Hunt I’ve been on in 2-3 days. Counting exo hunts. Can eat invigorating pies and live though most attacks. But to me it’s disheartening and messed up that 90% of the people on the hunts aren’t truly helping. They are just there for the loot. I get it collect loot but revive people. Don’t just be a dig into the ground doing nothing person. Or sitting there with a loot mag hammer doing nothing else. If I see it I won’t revive you. How are you truly helping the hunt?? Wasting a ss of revives for you to do nothing is hurting the people actually killing the mobs. Want to heal than heal people. I’m a tank by stats but still revive and throw heal bombs like crazy. Hang and toss bombs do something not just die and beg for revives.

Yes bigger meteors is helping but harder mobs. So not truly helping before someone says it makes bigger meteors

I actually was part of i think one of jaceys hunts
And gave my 2cents about the same subject.
I was there maybe during 2-4 meteors and then i just stopped and returned home
Pretty much got so frustrated cause over half of the people were just running around with lootsticks.
Some people responded to me with “you can do what you like in the game” (not quote).
Problem prolly is that people are using top forged slingbows that kill any creature in a second so guess people with lower gear think why even bother

Yeah I’ve left the last 3 hunts after the second or third meteor cuz people doing nothing. Went on t7 Hunt the other day and it seemed like the same 6-8 people were killing the mobs the rest did nothing but loot. So left. Been on t6 hunts the same way. If not reviving me or people or healing. And not shooting mobs. Why are you on the hunt? It’s helping yes but hurting more cuz you need to be revived but you’re not reviving no one or healing no one

I mean. I get if there is a new player around just coming to watch what is going on and looting on side. But when i see people who i know have played “long” time and are more than capable reguiring stuff needed for hunts… it drives me nuts.
Maybe there should be more lower tier hunts. I know circa is popular but for those unexprienced ones there could be t3 hunts.
Yes it drives me nuts too. Damn I’ll give you a sling or healing bombs if need them. Pretty sure Luna Lynn gave you one of my sapphire axes just because. It’s a game need something to help ask. Don’t do nothing. Say something and people will help

I dont hunt much lately (busy) but my experience is kind of different. The last hunt at least (yesterday), people were very helpful in terms of rev and killing mobs. Ive had my share of hunts just like the one you mentioned so what i mean to say is, dont let it discourage you from going to hunts. Maybe what you experienced takes place in mega big hunts (30+ people)?
Generally, it doesn’t bother me so much, because I’m there to get oort and I enjoy hunting, but I don’t waste revives on anyone that’s hiding on the fringe. I also use reviver brews so that I’m not dependent on being revived.
I run about with my slingbow and lootstick drawn so that I can kill and collect efficiently. I need to keep moving, because I sacrificed the protection epic for the damage epic.

I notice this mostly with the larger hunts. I’m level 50 and fully geared. Yet when there are so many people there’s not enough mobs for everyone. I spend every hunt trying to kill as many creatures as possible but on the larger hunts I find that by the time I locate a live enemy it’s already dead or dying. So I end up just running around looting while I look for something to shoot.

Yeah that’s true on “larger” hunts most of the mob is deal before you can fire. It just seems to make the harder hunt less big hunts people just don’t try they still expect the mob to be dead so they don’t try. They just hang back or hide waiting while others do the work. It’s frustrating a lot. Wasting my bows or revives and everything on a hunt where everyone isn’t at least helping as much as they could

Is the problem that the looters are causing the meteors to fail? I main heal/tank because a majority of the big hunts are swamped with dps. I’m just there for the loot also, so I don’t stretch for xp

For me its literally the opposite issue.
I bring maxed forged gem slingbows to a tier 5 hunt with newer players using fists / metal slingbows and i’m afraid i’l kill all the creatures too quickly without letting everyone else get a hit in.
I never really see anyone just standing around - usually everyone is shooting or dead, and while a few may go and loot (myself included), its not really to the detriment of the hunt.
Suppose it depends on the size and the people, really.

We will always have such a problem if a game lures people to do something they don’t want to do with rewards. I have no idea why these raids are the best (and only) source for something as important as Oort and forge ingredients.

You do! 
It’s a non issue that people are turning into an issue. If it bothers you, there are options:
- Don’t revive them;
- Talk to them about your concerns, and tell them that they’re playing the game wrong (But then don’t complain when they all leave and you start getting L4 meteors instead of L6);
- Get your 500 revives quicker and stop complaining;
- Probably any number of other options I’ve not thought of.

Is what I was noticing the last time I was hunting regularly (or at all).. i used to do hunts for xp but with the dps’ers and the hunting xp nerf, loot became my ONLY reason for hunting. it seemed like there was nothing to do but punch wildstock with my measly fist. And I use fists because they shoot straight and I dont have to go mining for 3 days to make a sling..
I agree there are a lot of freeloaders but there are (at least when I used to hunt) many more that do crazy dps.)
