Pre-release people had 14 days head start compard to release date poeple. 14 days – that is an advantage.
Not hard to understand at all – but that is NOT what my post is about.
I wanted a full wipe on release – but there was not one. So, I have my idea to assist in solving the problem instead of just running my mouth like 90% of forum people do. They will say problems but not offer any solutions.
I never said I want a full wipe because I am annoyed. I said there should of been one at release so everyone is on equal footing, minus the experience/knowledge that pre-release people retained.
Is that concept really to difficult for you to understand?
why dont you do a poll this will go one forever i hope theres no new wipe i remember playing with a pending wipe for a year half the game left cuase off it
Let’s agree to disagree on the wipe thing and move on. On the special portal, I think a central hub that will connect to every capital, ignoring blinksecs etc., Is too advanteougus, advantageous enough that determined group of people would hold all capitals for themselves, and never give it back (dumping prestige into plots is just too easy).

I said, I feel there should of been a wipe on release. Since there was not a wipe, I feel pre-release players have an even larger advantages than just having knowledge and experience.
I suggested an idea, not even a complete idea, just the birth of an idea on how to correct/fix/lessen the problem that I presented in my original thread.

Yes prestige dumping is too easy (which is also why taking a capital from a hub based pre-release person is almost impossible), which is why I am trying to think of ideas on how to give players a way to even the field since they didnt have the 14 day head start.

In a month this 14 days head start will be drop in a bucket with all but the most hard-core groups and players. In few months it won’t matter at all.
Players will be dripping in all the time. Do you really want to give more and more hand to new players cause they joined 12 weeks after release and using your logic has no chance in hell to beat old players?
Trying to make game mechanic change to solve a very short term problem is a grave mistake cause we will have to live with solution for a hopefully very long time .
Bootstrap to powered work bench, mass produce metal and precious metal blocks, chisel the hell out of one or two towers of ugly prestige. Bam, you are the capital.
That can be done relatively quickly now that prices for diamonds are not that height.
As for group vs one, guess what, more people will always be able to outdo one player.
Edit: befor you say that this is why dumping prestige is about and hey will do the same, consider power of preparation and psychology. Get big enough lead and there is big chance they won’t try to fight and go somewhere else.

and everything i do in future also until there’s a correction for something the dev’s allowed me to do as a thank you for helping to build up the game i think its pretty obvious why there so much protest against what ya saying
if the dev’s allowed this it is not cheating but how the game works

I think the network of friends I have built up is a much more powerful advantage than time.
BTW, Gemporium got to the game late, and just came back online like yesterday. Keep an eye on them, because they will be the test case that proves you can come to the party late and still rekt people.
Every new public world added from now on will be affected by a ‘grace’ buff.
Grace Buff
Affects the entire world.
Lasts 7 days
Control beacons are not allowed, only campfires.
As soon as the timer buff expires, control beacons are allowed to be placed.
Result
New and old players will have the same opportunities to be the first capital world.
Organized guilds will have more advantages over others because they will have to explore and decide what strategic spot they will use (near a diamond mines, gleam spot, etc).
Guilds will have to organize who will place the campfire every hour since it cannot be refueled (sort of like camping an anchored citadel in EVE)
It will be a exciting event to watch the ‘capital race’ between different players.
I call a spade a spade, you had an advantage – dont sit there and say you didn’t. Cheating? No, but for sure an advantage. Cant reset now, the release date has passed, that is what my original idea is about. But you are all focused on me saying 14 day advantage.
Guess we agree to disagree. This game has 1 server. Many planets but 1 server. This isnt like MMOs that have multiple servers/shards/or whatever you want to call it.
So when you have 1 of something, you need to start it properly. THAT is what im saying.

Doesnt change the fact that 14 day is a huge lead,
Or even take it a step further, when someone makes a new hero have a list of all T1 and T2 planets come up, and their date (month/year) they went live so it is easier to know where you are starting on and what you are getting into.
