If I had four millions plots I’d make a 6k planet into this and call it “B-H 438 Epsilon ‘The Void’”

It’s neat to watch that beast swirl all of those massive particles around! It’s The Great Big Cosmic Flush!
Yeah they are neat to look at. Would be cool to see in the night sky of boundless. If only I could have a dev give me 4 million plots lol
Oh definitely!
I mean creative 6km would give you unlimited plots
Well any creative
Can you see those in the live universe circling planets?
It wouldn’t have anything to gather, and would be purely aesthetics in the sky
No clue. I don’t pay attention to the planet types in the sky tbh or their names
They should be visible just like the rest, but I have not verified. I know they were visible on Testing.
Oh snap. Maybe I’ll do this then. Any votes?

Awesome, thanks for confirming @FireAngelDth and @Soju-VB.
If I get enough votes I’ll do it.
Yes, molav build a black hole
Maybe delete the message with James tagged? I think he has enough on his plate and we handled this so he does not really need to see this.
I have a 3km creative that should be open to anyone to plot - Its fueled for ~460 days. I’d be open to leveling it but it’s lava-lava so clearing it would be a bit labor intensive. If you’re going to try that, make it T1/T2 with one biome and no rivers. Get the largest radius bombs and go to town!
Good ideas. I’ll have to get low terrain for sure.
Okay, so I bought a creative planet. I’ll give it a try. I’m super interested if I can pull if off.
No need to remove the terrain. If the effect in the sky is all you are looking for, you could just build a one block high black layer above the planet.
But I’m still not sure how you want to achieve the glow. You only see a subset of the planet surface in the sky and it’s constantly changing.
I love the OPS idea but I agree this will be the issue. A rotating planet will make it difficult for players on other planets to see the planet as you intend. Also I think the planets in the sky are generated using a flat map that is wrapped so I do not think you can get the edges of the black hole horizon to stick out from the planets surface,
Ah okay, well that’s a bummer. I was hoping that it would pop out if I ground down the planet and then built out disks of gleam.
I was going to make cosmic anomalies for the night sky for boundless. If it did work.
But I can see that it will probably not be possible now.
