Inventory Space Increase in "The Exchange" please? I'll pay money!

I had assumed guilds/clans would just build their own storage (with layered permissions for different member rankings.)

Oh yeah, backpack space definitely used to be like that.

From what I recall, a lot of the skill tree that they were in had things that were more or less mandatory (compass, the ability to sprint, backpack space) that nearly every player took, and after some discussion it went away with the commendable idea that “If everyone picks it, why don’t we just give it to them and have a few less skill points” (I paraphrase, because I don’t remember the specifics).

Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth further discussion if you like the idea, but do I feel like you might not get much traction.

and i know this because i was one of the guys who promoted a skill-less inventory… but i was just trying to imply what would the new guys prefer more? something free or something to spend more money on… and cosidering it was then further explained to my understanding i agree… (not having a go, just explainng my reasoning  )

  • pay for extra inventory space
  • pay for level 50
  • free donkey
  • cheater

well … I would not have called it “cheater” but “just please no” or “That would be pay to win” ^^

its stops being a cheat until its buyable with qbits sames goes for the autofuel
those are two things i consider cheating unless i can get it with hard ingame work  and even when i use my precious q-bits on it after grinding it will still feel like the guys who buy it cheat but i accept it

well, the autofueling is somehow nothing but a little time saving … Put in every 4 weeks some leafblocks or leave it to the automata. That’s nothing very impressing. But to be able to get more inventory at your char without having to craft something for it (a suggestion I made over 3 years ago together with other functional items which would have been slotted at the back, like a endurance enhancer, O²-Source, damage blocker, light source, …) or spending Skill points but simply by spending money/qbits would be a bad thing because if you don’t do it you then have a disadvantage compared to others in matters of the ability to take big hauls, going out for long time gathering (which is now GOOD because you cant just go and pick up everything but have to focus at least a bit) or even carry your whole sortiment of weapons and stuff and still relax while mining for hours.

Same goes for Leveling with money of cause ^^

I prefer you add the inventory expand skill instead of the other cash shop item.

There was a skill before, which was removed because you need your points for other optimizations. The inventory at the moment is already increased

Japp, but why not being able to add a line with an epic next to the +50 Dam/Tank/Healer epics so that it’s a real tough choice and also fits into gameplay like “Wanna combat? - Yes: So take Dam/Tank/heal … - No: Wanna have some inventory for building and gathering?” ^^

Yeah i know we had that skill before, but looks like someone still feel they need more
So if that is really an issue, i suggest add the skill back, and add more inventory slot to current size lol.
(personally i am good with current inventory size, its already good enough for me)

@Marrash raised a good point earlier. So it is a skill send you take it with one skill spec. When you switch to a skill set that does not have the skill what happens? Do the extra items drop or go away? Something has to happen if you do not have the room for the items.

Edit. This may be why the developers maxed inventory and removed the skill

Many games handle this overusage by make the inventory unfillable, till you drop enough, to fill again. I don’t think, this is a problem, because anytime you will need to drop your items.

If not, then do the inventory “read”-only (drop only), until you got enough space.

So you can pick nothing else up until you empty slots? Even if you have room in one smart stack? If this is true then that would prevent this being abused.

Yes, this was just an idea, how to prevent abuse.

Before when we still had inventory expand skill, if you need to reset the skill with inventory full, system will tell you to clean up your inventory first.

I think it should be the same method for the skill set.

People might be using the reset in an emergency. Such as a miner being attacked and switching to a hunter spec. I am not sure that is a good time to clean up your inventory. You might be dead before you get the chance.

Edit personally I am good with vibex solution

This not even the right thing to do in my opinion…
But if this is the case, you can escape to the safety zone to do the reset…
Also when you died you wont 't lose any inventory items or durability.
you can died and come back to fight. ( because without the “skill reset” you will died in first place)

You do get the death penalty. And having worked through getting 50 percent of the Xp until it is paid off is almost worse

Sorry my typing is so bad using my ipad
