I’d say maybe 20% (lowball figure) of forum participants read but don’t post for no reason other than fear of trolls. Many of them probably have good contributions they could make.

This has been a common occurrence in this forum…

Look at the beginning of the “things I hate about boundless” thread… James asked for info and those super fans ripped apart anyone providing feedback.

Many times we have also brought up the concerns about people not providing constructive feedback.

We have had some people attack the game pretty unfairly so I can understand that people would come to defend it… but I’ve certainly seen many cases of people attacking honest fair criticism and even worse - intentionally blow up and create drama in threads to derail them so we can’t talk about the issue.

I also Understand why, if you were promised your own planet for the cash you gave that backed the game and you dont feel you are getting what you were promised of course youre gonna be a lil salty and maybe take it out on those who didnt and maybe takeover what you can. But folks who did back please dont take your frustration out on those of us who didnt and meant you no harm we just wanted to enjoy the game,

Well I am one only a handful that paid the full Oortian amount alone (not a shared payment to get the Oortian package) as well as some other money for plots. So personally I have spent a large amount of money on this game.

But, while I might be disappointed in some of the decisions and direction, I also have the maturity to understand that things are not always as easy to deliver as people expect. Additionally, game designs change as you develop things.

The biggest issue is many people don’t have perspective or try to put themselves in the developer shoes. They don’t understand how hard it is to meet all the needs of everyone and solve technical issues and develop a balanced game.

Instead of being salty people should provide good feedback and understand the challenges the game faces. Lastly they need to look at this as a marathon that will take a while.

This is very true my friend but all are not like you nor have your patience or understanding.I feel the Devs also sometimes because of this issue bend their own rules for these individuals and this causes a “Us vs Them” mentality which breeds certain toxicities in the community that drives players away.
