Basically I can say pc test users have an advantage or know what is coming so giving them access to exo worlds on the test servers puts me (ps4 user) at a disadvantage so they shouldn’t get first dips or special treatment. Which pc issuers do get special treatment. Release updates on ps4 then on pc so it is even. They test it. We get 3-4 days to play it and test it
There’s value to what you are saying. I’m new to this community, certainly compared to some of you but I’ve played a couple of MMORPG for several consecutive years of evolution.
One thing that I’ve learned, personally, is that stereotypes are a thing for a reason, and another is that if my interests are aligned with the goals of the developers/distributors, the community noise level becomes far less relevant to me.
Right now there are obvious problems here. It’s amplified by the lack of any clear direction and while “the devs” (as represented by james) seem open enough to participating in friendly conversation but as soon as there’s s hint of controversy or a question that might be a little “hard” there is at best a resounding silence, and at worst a sudden brigade using a host of distracting and inflaming techniques to ensure that any useful conversation is immediately derailed.
It’s hard to ignore.
People just need to chose to be nicer and not use the internet as their stress relief.

Ok first of all there ARE clear cut rules you can read them in the CoC yet they are only enforced if they get to the public forum which by the way drives folks from the game if they are constantly reading a toxic forum. I posted a thread “where do our ingame reports go to” and never got any kind of satisfactory response and never got one in game EVER.So my take is after months of in game reports with no response that they go " No where" You actually “Have To” post on the forums and do it without naming to get any response and sometimes that is met with silence or a verbal shrug.
I love the game its a good game there are great people and I think the Devs really care. There is however a basic function in a territorial like game such as this that requires a GM in game to enforce territorial disputes. The ingame function doesnt work it doesnt even give a automated response to say anyone even got it.This is a basic function of most any game and Ive played them almost 20 some years. I am not one of those folks who just complains and sits back. If the Devs need a volunteer for a few hours a day I would gladly donate some in game time if that would help I have done it before. This really needs addressing though.
PS if anyone got an ingame report response please raise your hand and I’m talking about non backers meaning just regular players. Im not even talking disputes Im talking just malfunctions or bugs ect not just disputes.

The thing I’ve noticed is people will report and report and report and nothing really happens. But that person reported against will report cuz they were enclosed or trolled like they did to the person that reported them. And the first one reporting will be penalized. I’m sorry you block me on 3 out of 4 sides you are trolling me if nothing happens to you why would I get banned for doing the same like I have seen before

Literally seen on new Leyden and duskmoor where people are blocked in and nothing happen or surrounded by blocks cuz they own the road. But yet the people that own that shop that was given to them or they own the beacon are in the wrong. Why is that?
Sorry but technically I am blocked from expanding by my gf and my friend and his gf. Can I report them and I lose half our settlement cuz I have a hair across my ass on that day?
I totally get what you are saying BUT if plots are plotted and you plot in the plot in the middle surrounded by roads so you get people to see your store you are not surrounded you chose that and in some cases like a mall or market were given that as a active shop owner which draws people to the entire settlement. If you were given said plot and go inactive the plot giver should certainly be ALLOWED TO wall you garden you ect as long as you have a way to get your stuff or go to smoke. HOWEVER if you plotted first and then someone surrounded you with a road or plots they have prevented your expanding and thats a CLEAR violation.

Yes true. But if “mall” owner says your shop needs to leave or I want you to do this. Isn’t it your right as the beacon owner to build or do what you want? If have rule for the mall that are followed and not broken why should you be trolled? Most malls I’ve seen say no walls or 1 plot wide or 2 plots wide. But have never seen people plotted in or barricaded cuz “mall” owner felt they were wrong. You allowed it for how long? Now it’s not ok so going to be a ■■■■ to you. That’s not ok. If was ok for month or 2. It’s still ok
What I think is interesting is that a highly controversial topic is in the news category and the ones who would be pitching fits and being jerks to anyone who complained aren’t on there saying anything. Why? I think because @james is there and they don’t want to show how rude, belligerent, argumentive and demeaning they are toward others.
I have posted in the threads concerning the “exploit” of the mining that is being changed from 2xp to 0 xp and my post here and it will be a long time before I post any more as I am sick and tired of the attacks from some of the forum members because they don’t like what I say.
It doesn’t matter that I really enjoy this game, want it to succeed, see the potential it has if certain changes are made, they want it kept the way it is because it the way they like it, they don’t care if new players quit, if the reviews are negative, as long as they get to play the way they want.
So, yeah, I am sick and tired of defending my right to voice my opinion, of stating what I think will help the game to get better, to get more players. Sick and tired of the attacks, remarks and rude behaviors of certain players. So, I won’t be posting much anymore. The air is too toxic here for me to stay and talk with those who really care about the game.

I get that conkuur. But who gets to choose what inactive is. We can play daily for hours. Inactive to me could be a week of not playing and that means I could block you in cuz I “deem” you’re inactive. Look at gyosha. Major hasn’t been on in a month or so for certain reasons. If she wasn’t mall owner it should be ok that her shop is trolled or blocked off cuz I could deem her inactive and I’m in the right?
You can stop defending yourself if you are tired of it. It isn’t like the Dev’s cares who ‘gets the last word in’ They read the comments and see if the feedback can inform their decisions.

No the mall owner suffers their own kinda hell by folks leaving and not coming back you see for every action (or inaction) there is a reaction. You cant make people (rules or no rules) be moral or just. You either are or are not.

He wasn’t blocked in like on Duskmoor, it also was done because he refused to talk, ran away and ignored me for weeks. All I wanted was some clarification about his plans with the shop. Especially since he wasn’t actually doing anything with it while people were asking for shop plots I didn’t have anymore.
To simply assume you know all that has happened by his very one sided post is not the best thing to do either. Besides neither party was punished for it, nothing was forcibly removed by devs as I had removed the few blocks before any dev intervention was even needed so am not entirely sure what you expected them to do after the fact. Also to equate those two very different situations is kinda silly…
I agree with you but the facts are contradictory, because for now they have only won the trolls and stalkers, the harassed end up losing the papers, as they cover you, surround you and harass you, to the point of convincing the developers of that you are erased and that you are the harassed (it is an example), then saying this, I agree that the developers are not gods but if they know everything, they know all the goings of the game so much that they want to remove the xp from the rocks to to hide the veterans and not be able to reserve zones and preserve them without even building, the trolls do not like that, since they can not harass you if you have everything booked, so we are in a situation in which the evil one wins and the he really takes advantage of the game and enjoys it, he ends up abandoning because the developers end up giving the reason to the trolls
He hadn’t been active for quite some time and even put up a sign he didn’t have time so it was pretty darn clear. He did however have the time to pick up his footfall every other day adding stock to his shop wouldn’t have been all that more time consuming.
He ignored me and someone else’s enquiries, promised to contact me but didn’t, even ran away from me when I wanted to talk so I did this to force him to talk except he still refused to and reported me and made a thread about it to make me look bad which apparently succeeded reading your posts.
All I wanted to know was more information about his plans. If he had simply told ‘hey sorry don’t have much time to play coming time’ I would have known but he did not do such a thing, a short five minutes in game chat would have prevented all this, the way he behaved when I wanted to talk showed me he felt he was doing something wrong hence why I tried to force him to talk.
Also consider that he suddenly did have time to take over the market after I wanted to stop with it and lied about that I had given it to him. And heck let’s not forget the insistent trolling he kept doing afterwards…
But sure you’re free to think he was an.angel in all of this 
The devs did good in my situation and many others. They indeed do know what is going on in the game and try to act as fairly as possible but they are also only human afterall.
But this thread wasn’t about how devs react to
players in game who are misbehaving this thread is about trolls right here in the forums, people who attack someone’s ideas and opinions for whatever silly reason they got in their head.
