Background I found an island and started to build a castle on it… built a bridge as I needed a way to get to the castle. So I decided to make a big part of my build about the bridge itself.
Had a dull moment at work, so made a quick sketch of what my grandiose bridge could look like (I’m no artist so forgive my drawing!).
At the moment I would like to keep the location a secret until I can get at least the middle island and bridge under a beacon.
The plan after that, is to invite others to build up the area on the outer edges of the lake, to make a central hub and surrounding town. I’ll be making updates to this thread to show my progress, so will shout out the location when it’s ready to start inviting others to build up a town.
as you wish my friend, as I imagine you keep that location in secret because you dont have any beacon plotter left to protect it right?. I understand that, keep like this.
and here is another question. Anyone has arrived to the limit of a world? because i haven’t. It’s too big xD
haha, I’ve only been around Hawig world where I live, and theres a giant lake. the far I got was to the other side, the top part, where i’ve made a luminiscent bridge and arround the lake. Also the capital and sorroundings but not that far
That’s a nice design honestly. Are you planning on making a big gate through the middle of the center tower and making it so it’s one big tower, or will there be six towers?
Thanks - I’m hoping to get the other side of the bridge finished this evening so I can carry on with the towers. I was originally planning to do 6 towers, but after increasing the size of the middle towers to merge into the main tunnel, I decided to merge them into one big one. It will have a tall archway through the middle of it - hopefully with a gate at some point
Cool, i’m surprised you understood what i was saying, since i was not sure i got my point across clearly. Have a fun time building, and i can’t wait to see it finished!
I’ve also done some major work in laying out and building up the main castle (I’m not even sure that it is a castle now as it has no crenelations!) Let’s just call it a heavily fortified residence
So far I’ve completed 4 of the 11 standard towers, and still have the main central bridge building to complete… along with the other side of the bridge!
