I think it could be any animal that you can tame, if it comes from a different part of the property the pet will just have to deal with AI and such and follow what is accessible and try to attack them. But I think that if somebody is in your property they can’t use certain items like grappling hooks and the like unless there are certain rules unlocked but since it’s somebody blisted it would be turned off from that function.

Could be a magic armor guard or a rock golem or a zombie or something I dunno. XD

Back to the topic at hand though, Yeah a jail system would be awesome, even useful in a large city. The “go straight to jail” thing for entering a beacon you’ve been black listed from is the biggest part I take issue with. I would prefer, if we were to have a jail system, that a person has to manually capture and escort an offending player to a cell. This solves two problems; firstly it gives the offender a chance to flee. secondly, it preserves immersion of the game. What immersion is left to be preserved if the player just pops into a cell when the cross a border, then pops back out when they leave the cell? I still feel that it would be better for beacons to reject entry at the border, and I like @zouls’ suggestion of beacon “soul binding” to keep the immersion in lore.

hmm thats good but what if he just logs out

Then when he logs back in, his position is either a) at his home spawn, or b) a position outside the beacon. Personally, I’m leaning toward a, but it has it’s own abuse potentials as well. I don’t think it would be a big issue if the offender logs out of the game as a result, though.

I would prefer that when you log out you log back in where you last were, but then again I’d like to see an option on the character screen to either log in where you last where at or log in at home location, but in doing so will make it so you can’t log in there, you’d have to walk back there or however you got there if you wished.

Why not just ban them from that town period. What im saying is if banned or blacklisted they can not enter said town any reason what so ever till the ban is lifted whether that be a set time or something.

if there being super bad and will not stop and that player is harassing other people or yourself you should probably report it.

The jail thing sounds cool there should be a physical way to put them there like having to hit them or something with an item whether it be melee or range before getting teleported to the cell and maybe have a set time in jail like 3 mins or maybe up to 10 but nothing too long.

However, i could see hide and seek tag or a game of cops and robbers developing out of it.

Maybe have the skill to pick locks too :3

If your talking about marking another player or branding them that seems a bit over bored and could get abused in a bad way

Im not meaning branding them im meaning if you have the biggest trade city and if they are blacklisted for 7 days the cant get in to trade for 7 days

Oh it seems it would be easier to have a way to keep them out of that town therefore losing all privileges such as trading and so on.

Yea I don’t think banning is a good thing what about items and trade? It would be harsh for them to be punished like that and what if the violation was minor and accidental and the person blist was over reacting?

Well to my understanding it would just be that one town or all towns with that one guild so the player could go to other towns.

True but you know people can lie about stuff sand tell others to blist somebody. I just think it would be awful personally.

Well there will probably be a lot of different towns and guilds and to tell them all would be kind of hard. On top of that not everyone is going to listen to a random person saying blist this person plus if that person never did anything to the person being told why blist them? If anything id blist the person telling me to blist someone else.

I think it would be a fair punishment and if its unfair then thous people probably arnt good friends or allies to begin with. It also wouldn’t hinder the person that’s getting blist too much

Yea I just think that it could be abused.

well everything can really but it wouldn’t really be something super huge your just getting kicked out of one town or 2 out of 10000000000 not a huge loss would suck if you were part of that town thou but you could go on to another town and meet better people

a lot of people or at lest intelligent ones will form there on option on people and not listen to a random stranger

And if somebody works hard to let you be banned out of to much towns (without reason) just report it to the devs/gms like you would do in every other MMO as well
