Update 4/12: Put some rudimentary root structure in with a rough tree base.

awesome, i am on now and will add to it
this is what i did so far tonite - Its starting to look like a tree - the last shot is of the leaves i am using…dark blue, medium blue and then silver. I figured dark blue for lower branches, medium blue for mid branches and silver for the canopy. What do you think, team? i left samples of each leaf on the top of the tree where i left off. (NOTE: when you teleport to capital, it brings you to the highest point of the tree)
I will be on around 2pm EDT tomorrow to continue

For anyone who sees dark purple bleam posts leading away from the capital area (at the future market) It goes to my beacon and house, if anyone wants to come visit! I will replace the gleam with a road in the future

Popped in yesterday for a visit and it’s looking amazing, though teleporting to capital without a grappling hook makes things… interesting

Yea, we need to ask the Devs to reposition the beacon so you teleport to the ground level…@james, @ben, @vdragon
Would you wonderful Devs be able to tweak the Lapas Capital teleport coords? Right now, it puts you on the highest point that has a surface, which is the top of the tree LOL Kinda scary.
It would be best if it put the player on the ground in the center.

At the moment the capital spawn logic shots a ray down and positions you on the first block it hits. Hence you sometimes end high up. (It’s not a high priority to update this.)
Couldn’t you create a cool slide or bounce pad or something to make a fun entrance?

well probably be on doing Oortian stuff pretty soon if theres anything we can do!
At the capital, if you go down the grand staircase…there is a market just starting to be built…you can always continue with that and create more shops, etc. there!
Be sure to bring a grappling hook when teleporting to the capital…it puts u at the top of the tree and you have to make your way down (there is no fix for this until we build a stair case or something at the tree)
