Lvl atm?

Honestly, I think crafting experience is mostly where it should be. It took me about four-five hours of non-stop mining to get enough Stone for that major craft, and it took me up about two and a half levels. (Counting experience gained FROM mining.) This is with maxed Hammer Mastery, Dexterity, Agility, and the five Attribute levels. It’s simply an incredibly efficient way to power-level, but it STILL takes a long time, and the last ten levels even longer. I am really hoping it isn’t nerfed.

This is soo true considering you had to unlock all of that. I do the same thing and if I’m lucky I’ll find more diamond than I spent in hammers. However I maxed durability and agility also for crit and a longer lasting diamond hammer.

But what is the level cap? Only been playing for 2 weeks I’m already level 32 almost 33 so I’m worried I will hit the level cap in no time at which point I will be very sad.

Cap is lvl 50 atm.

You still earn xp after the level 50 for your to get more beacon plots for building.

Yeah still pretty disappointing though, I play really hard & I would like to see my own personal status continue to grow with me well past lv 50, simply because I will be level 50 in basically no time at all from now compared to how much more time I will be investing in the game far past lv50. The worst part still just being stuck at lv 50 for ages & ages, 100’s of hours worth of gameplay later, still lv 50. This saddens me knowing this is my very near future in a game called ’ Boundless ’

i’m pretty sure that like every other MMO, level cap is gonna go up every major update or rework of skilltrees, as new skills that are now ingame, but not yet implemented

Even if you hit lv50 once, you can still create another character to compliment the skills you haven’t learned on your first one, giving it a spinoff on how you play the game.

Keep in mind, aside from beign an MMO, this is a voxel game aswell, so not everything is about leveling up, building is a big part of the game also.

i personally grinded about 200hs mining to get to level 39 before the second xp rebalance update, it reached the point i was on automatic mode hardcore farming to get 20 skillpoints and a few plots

The way to see it is your progression goes from character development to item development (the forge)

I guess it could be implemented that you could reach level 1000 (or 1000000?). The plots/coin reward don’t need to change as they already are at each 200k xp.

That would make future updates and level increases a bit more difficult though.

Yeah cool, However everyone isn’t going to feel comfortable playing the game how you do.
I myself would never create “Another character” because " to me " that defeats the purpose of all the hard work I’m putting into my actual character, Its like backtracking to me & I don’t do that in games. I prefer to continually progress & move forward with one character.
& its good to know that at some point the level cap will indeed increase, that’s a beautiful thing.

More difficult is good! ’ & by difficult I think you mean more like, ’ Not easy ’ then yes more difficulty would be great.

47 since yesterday was low level longtime but i goes faster now since building xp got better
