NOT Another Leaving Thread

Yeah, I can see that the question might be “there are new players, but do they stay?”

Did you just focus on the negative again? :stuck_out_tongue:

I mean, DUH, I’m French.

That’s like going to a cat and ask "Did you just meow again? :stuck_out_tongue: "

Oooohhh you’re French that explains it all!!!

Edit: One of my favorite games of all time and the mention of French.

If only it ended there. I assure you I’m awkward like 90% of the time in-game.

I see new players quite often around trior! I actually met 2 last night. I don’t know if they will stay but I do try to help new players find guilds if they want to play with others. If not I’ll take them to TNT at the very least so they can see all the portals and possibilities.

I agree it seems at least twice a week new players land on Trior.

DID YOU JUST SEND A “FRENCH PEOPLE ARE COWARDS” JOKE TO A FRENCH?!

I’m freaking going to impale you with baguettes and force-feed you frog legs while melting your skin with hot omelette du fromage, only for your wounds to be covered with Salt of Guérande, before putting you in a bath of red wine and musky cheese, where you will be left to rot for DAYS.
Then, the rats…

I wonder if there is a way to make welcome centers with guild books of Guilds open to new players with portals leading to where the guilds are at.

I tend to take new players to Ezpz if the player has Gleam Club. Sadly I’m not familiar of other guilds outside of Reapers and Ezpz that are active.

I also try to have welcome packages when I can for new players. ( since becoming ill those packages have declined :frowning: )

Good to speak to you yesterday. I tend to agree with you here. I try and get them to a hub… maybe not TNT always … but a hub where they can at least access more of the work and not feel so alone.

Welcome packages are a huge plus. Basic tools, some food, some light and a chest or two go a long way.

You don’t like suffocating level 1 players?

Well, I was never introduced to TNT directly. I did however meet @Soju-VB on day 1 which almost felt like cheating a bit lol.

But for newer players and like myself I think I would have been much more impressed having found TNT on my own. I was still amazed when I saw it the first time and really any hub like it (Ultima, PS, EZPZ) made me realize the game was a whole lot bigger than I ever considered.

Bahaha. I usually run through first to buy one of those protection foods for them to eat.

Maybe once I can get back on track I could make those with other welcome items.

Might build a little welcome area with my new castle

the whole rest of this is just TL:DR to me but yeah- new players come in all the time. and no it’s not sad they haven’t heard of the game yet, no the devs shouldn’t advertise it out yet. the game still needs work as most of you seem to be content with spending all your time pointing out on the forums.

the last thing i’d want is a massive new influx of players that are going to turn around and have the same sentiments about the game needing more content as the rest of us.

i really don’t understand why anyone needs to post about how they’re leaving- or how this is because of this that and the other. it doesn’t matter, the devs don’t care and neither do the rest of us. people no longer with us is saddening but at the same time, great. I hope people find games to play they enjoy and quit shitting on the rest of us.
