Something that might help is if she gives you a partially complete atlas showing region centers that she’s been in. A good place to start finding special spots.

Are you still mapping planets? Mine is named Pie & Moo it’s a T3 Lush world, no lava and you get there through the TNT Sovereign Planet wing. It has 50 regions.
