Currently in poland and managed to find a computer, we had to take it and it is actually quite interesting. if you are up for it take it and write who you are, reading about the type will help form a better picture of the person

I love this. I have taken this several times over the past few years thinking every-time that I’ve changed, but I always get ENTP (The Debater)

I think the most interesting part of those tests is when you first do it yourself and then compare it to the result you get when someone else fills it out based on his/her opinion about you. The results are pretty surprising most of the time.

EDIT:
Virtuoso when I did it myself but Logician when my girlfriend did it for me.

I got the campaigner

I got the Entertainer

I got Mediator

I did the test on same web months ago. I was Mediator. I have heard its good, people were always happy when they got this. Why?

Your personality type: “The Mediator” (INFP-T)
Strength of individual traits: Introverted: 19%, Intuitive: 76%, Feeling: 20%, Prospecting: 24%, Turbulent: 27%.
Role: Diplomat
Strategy: Constant Improvement

Without even taking that I can tell you that I am INTP

with around
40% I
60-70% N
70% T
and 50% ( ± 20%) P

I get around that every time in every test, also just according to my phychological profile.

I am an Advocate (INFJ-T). Reading the article about it, it’s surprisingly accurate.

My stats are: Introverted: 35%, Intuitive: 64%, Feeling: 20%, Judging: 16%, Turbulent: 42%.

I was INFP in high school/college (30 years ago), now I’m INFJ. Interesting.

I loath personality tests
they tend to be used to give people the self justification to judge others without the hard and time consuming work of getting to know them first

well yeah that is the point. It is made to give you an idea about what people are good at, it is not precise but if you do not have other factors to go from it will give you a statistically better idea about what people can do than just guessing based on what you emideatly see.

I thought I was more of a Thinker than that^^ But it seems like I’m almost 100% introverted xD

Exactly
It gives you an inherently inaccurate set of conclusions about someone so you don’t have to know them as a person
It turns people into a set of numbers
calculated things on a spread sheet

and I hate that
the very concept is abhorrent to me

Everything can be expressed in numbers and calculated. Even people.
(That doesn’t mean such a test can do it)

I don’t think the profile gives you conclusions, I think it gives you facts, facts that are distilled from how the person decided to answer the questions on the test (how they would react in several situations). I’m not sure the test is 100% accurate, but to the degree to which it is, one can ascertain with a certain level of reliability the degree to which a person is extroverted/introverted, intuitive/observant, etc.

How (or whether) you turn those into conclusions is up to you. Personally, it helps me because I can tell from this that a person may tend to be an introvert or an extrovert; or that they’re more (not completely) analytical rather than emotional, etc.

I’m with you though, I think the long descriptions about who a person is or how they would react in certain situations based on their score is not to be trusted 100%.
