A pretty simple suggestion; A spray similar to fertiliser, but crafted with Wax and such as well. The idea being that it’ll freeze the crop/flower in its current stage, and wont give any prestiege/proximity bonuses nor wilt, until sprayed with a fertiliser or water-spray.
Don’t think it’d be too complex to make, at least. Plus it’d mean people that want to use flowers purely for decoration, won’t have to stock up rare flowers.
…and that my rare exo crystal seeds won’t just wilt and go to waste. 
Totally on board with this. I never plant them because they wilt. I would be happy to have them with no prestige if they did not die.
This spray wouldn’t remove the option of letting them die either so you could have both options.

Absolutely. I know I wouldn’t be the only person who’d enjoy it.
On-top of this, I’d honestly enjoy if Sentinel Shards could grow upside down, too. I’d love to put some on my artificial cave ceiling, if that was possible.
