PS5 will be backwards compatible with all ps4 games iirc. As for this game being updated to use ps5s full extent is a different story and one only the devs could answer

They don’t yet have a PS5 dev kit.
I’m highly confident they will get one ASAP though, and at least be compatible at launch.

I’d rather be able to see the bottom of big water pits instead of not seeing whats down there because everything is opaquely reflective as it is now. Can we remove the opaqueness from the surface of water?

i hope it will be playable on ps5 @ release with the power of the ps5 because on ps4 its too slow everytime the loading of the backgrounds or farms thats really annoying.

Is this a confirmed fact? Where and when was this posted?
I have read an interview with James where he was spot on the money regarding his hope for a significantly faster storage device since Boundless needs to pull down a lot of dynamic data about the state of the persistent worlds.
Cheers. Hope that doesn’t delay a possible Boundless PS5 edition close to the launch date.

From what I’ve read and seen not all ps4 games are portable to ps5. Sony hasn’t fully explain it yet besides gta 5 online. Hopefully I don’t have to buy an upgrade to the game cuz I won’t until after more improvements happen. I don’t like building and that’s every update for last 1-2 years.

Last I read they said they are working on getting all PS4 games to work with the ps5. Tho some games will require the developers to make some adjustments to have the game work with ps5 but not all game will require that.

Hopefully this game just transfers and can be played between both ps consoles. I own a lot a ps4 games so hopefully they just move. I’d be pissed to buy the mafia games again after just buying them lol

I hope they do because soon as it’s released I’m getting rid of my PS4. I hope they comment on this post so we know what there plans are for next gen

Yes, I do hope they transfer it to PS5. Sometimes when I play Boundless my PS4 goes into full jet engine mode (The system is as old as time now).

For same problem i recently started to use my old normal ps4 instead of ps4 pro, because the noise of the pro is really incredibile.
