Ok - I appear to have reproduce it by quitting the control remapping while re-assigning it so it was left unassigned. I’ll have a looks tomorrow.

Anybody help, getting content file locked error. Really annoying me now I’m being unable to play the game
A workaround to get playing again should be go it to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Boundless\user_settings\heurazio and delete the controls.json file. It will reset all the bindings.
If you first installed it when it was called Oort Online then in will be that folder rather than Boundless.
