I had this happen to me once, but after I quit and relaunched the game the mouse wheel worked properly.
I don’t remember what I was doing that triggered this behavior, but I think I had been manipulating my inventory. Maybe I was using he mouse wheel as I closed the inventory screen?
It happened once and I have not observed it since.
sztosz:
I had it couple of times. Once, also, maybe related, I could not manipulate anything in inventory and machines, because I had stack of rocks “glued” to cursor and clicking did nothing.
JakeTheHit:
I have this recurring issue with my hands where if I switch an item in right hand manually via Q key, my mouse wheel no longer works for my left hand until I use the Q key for it too, then it goes back to working properly. I have my mouse wheel set to change dominant hand, which is my left hand. Right hand I always have to change manually, but sometimes when I do, it wont let use the mouse wheel for my left hand until I use the Q key on my left hand. Also, when using the Q key to fix my left hand, it always clears whatever is in my right hand and I have to reselect it
Looks like there has been a few reports on this. We may have a fix for the issue.
Tuudi:
Well seems those were bit off, but here’s a video of the different heights you take damage from different block types from, hope it’s conclusive enough.
What i’m wondering about that is, is it intensional(to encourage the use of fall damage reduction skill?) or should you take same fall damage from same height for all the block types?
Thanks for the video, I’ve added it to the bug database.
That’s quite a few reports of characters receiving damage walking over chiselled / sloped blocks. I believe we may have a fix for these.
schasm:
Sorry I don’t recall. I completed step 1 (Tools/Weapons/Tech?) and then step 2, but I can’t get back to step 2 to check the objectives and I can’t see them on any other characters because they don’t have shop stands or that objective (which comes after other selling objectives they’ve not yet completed). Basically I completed all the objectives on both steps, but step 2 completion sent me back to step 1. So whatever is in step 2.
I’ll list the tasks here for you:
Offer Tools for sale in a Shop Stand
Offer Weapons for sale in a Shop Stand
Offer Equipment for sale in a Shop Stand
Sell Tools in a Shop Stand
Sell Weapons in a Shop Stand
Sell Equipment in a Shop Stand
With the list above, do you remember which ones were problematic?

About the strange looking gleam light. On the shelf behind me with coords, if any dev wants to visit…

It’s important you don’t have any light in hand. With thorch those circles inside the gleam are not so obvious.
Okay, it’s definitely a weird issue, so I’ve added it to the bug database.
Is it occurring with any particular signs or just the ones created by you?
Can you provide screenshots showing the plot layout of your settlements if possible?
Also, have you seen this forum topic?
Hi, we have guild members who are trying to merge their builds with the main guild beacon, and can’t. There’s an ‘error’ message on their beacon stating that ‘this beacon bridges two or more separate Settlements and cannot merge’.
the beacon in question touches the main guild beacon, and no others; and this happened when the guild members’ beacon was below 10K, so we tried boosting it over 10K, and the problem persists.
Seems like a bug? but not sure, is there some info about how the merge s…

Died of drowning while swimming at top of water. I was swimming under water and a cuttletrunk was also swimming underwater at the same time. The cuttletrunk was still able to fully attack me underwater. I was half way or so out of breath so I went back up top to kill it. As I was killing it, I was still taking drowning damage and eventually died to it while at top with full breath.

Crete:
I know its been posted before, but still making me angry =(
-When you start drowning, then surface for air, all of your environmental damage goes away, and you start to die to the planet hazard. This makes diving soooo dangerous… and i like diving… and hate death
This should hopefully be fine with changes in the next update.
BrianPWilson:
Just started an alternate character this evening (CraftyTowner) and I went mining for the first time. I’ve acquired 15 copper ore so far and my feat counter shows zero acquired still. It’s not counting the metal ores I’m pulling out of the ground.
EDIT: Update: I hit 75 copper ore gathered and then it started to count. numbers 76, 77, 78 and 79 were added to my character bringing me up to 4 total.
What’s the name of the affected feat?
Do you mean you’re seeing the text appear on the top right of the screen? If so, I’m not seeing this, but if you can submit a screenshot showing the issue occurring, I can add it to the database.
Chaan:
About tracking settlements, so as I understood the earlier reply you would have to choose to track the settlement. That’s fine then (with the text being updated) but how do I actually go about doing that? Ran around Lamblis Market for a while and while it says that I am in Lamblis Market there is no “current settlment” or such under the settlements tab and I can’t find any beacons that don’t read as “outside settlement”.
Does this area contains one of your beacons for it to be tracked?

Journal Task “Warp That Way” Travel through a Warp to xxx World
(don’t remember what was it, I think it was rugged) and second one I don’t remember it’s name, but with somewhat similar objective, would not trigger no matter what. Then suddenly when I explored 20th region on Serpensarindi (157th total), those two task triggered just like that… god knows why.
Now I got in my Journal “Warp This Way” Travel through a Warp to Inhospitable World
, and it’s not triggering either, though I were on Inhospitable worlds many time. I’ll report if it triggers when I try to warp by those hand made conduits to an Inhospitable world.
sztosz:
I used the hand made Warp Conduit, not the portals. And it did not trigger for rugged. I tried it twice. Then few days later (~25 min ago) boom, them task just out of nowhere trigger after uncovering another region on Serpenssardini ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Looks like neither of those objectives are working. Thanks for the reports, I’ve added both of these to the bug database.

Found how to reproduce an atlas crash bug, put one ruby in the atlas and have two diamonds in your inventory then pick up the diamond stack and drop it on the atlas. Instant carsh to desktop. Have sent a bunch of crashdumps today…
Probably the same bug as @auben reported earlier.
Oh, interesting. So you picked up an item and tried adding it to the atlas before it crashed? The engineer who the bug was assigned to would like to send you his thanks and can now go about fixing it.
That’s quite a lot of notifications. How many times did it happen to you?
DarkSanity:
So, got the bomb mastery 1/5 and epic bomb mastery but doesn’t seem to be affecting silver bombs for me. It is showing bomb damage in character profile under combat and effect though. It took around 5+ bombs to destroy blocks on serpensarinde but my calcs (may be wrong, but still something wrong with display) should only be 4. Initially had 171% total bonus damage for said calcs to destroy in 4 bombs but wasn’t working so moved it around and hoped but nothing shrug .

Thanks for giving your input, we’ll give this a go to see if we get the same issue.
This should be fixed in the next update.

I always have, constantly, unplayable connections.
I live in Portugal - Europe and I have no internet access problems with other games that I play. Why is this happening?

I’ve mentioned this to a few players early on in this forum topic, but did you change your Chunk Download Rate and Chunk Cache Size settings as described here?
The Chunk Download Rate option limits the number of chunks the game will attempt to download from the server. If the client attempts to download more chunks than your connection bandwidth can support then the game may start to lag. This will often happen when you’re in areas that contain many portals.
The Chunk Cache Size (in MB) option limits the size of the chunks cached locally. The more chunks the client can cache the less chunks it will need to re-download from the server when entering wor…
If there are still problems, post your results there.
Kirinvar:
If this already has been reported, I’m sorry, i didn’t read 500+ posts. (Amazing job @ everyone reporting.)
Using a transform Chisel doesn’t give any xp.
But it should, even more.
These things are expensive and difficult to make.
What do you mean by transform chisel? Also, are you chiselling within your beacons, or outside of them?
I can’t reproduce this, even after turning off Continuous Chatting. Did you reconfigure your Control settings at any point?
willcrutchley:
Occasionally hitting enter in chat will just constantly add extra lines. No matter what I do, exiting and re-opening the chat window, deleting the message, the enter button just adds lines.
I haven’t figured out how to reproduce it yet, but i thought I would just leave it here as it seems to happen quite often. Anyone else experienced this?
Do you mean that the text you entered appears twice, or that there’s a blank line every time?
Samski:
Cant see if this is anywhere else, or just a part of one of the other mentioned shop stand bugs, but some items seem to have their price become ten times as much when you enter the shop stand. If you look at the stand from the outside the price is shown as should be, as well as when looking at the item price in the shop stand. Stands i have noticed this on are Fibrous Leaf and Sap stands at the Sparta shop at the portal seekers Hub on Biitula. Perhaps why it is saying you have not got enough coin for other things, but in these stands the price can be seen to change.
It’s probably likely to be related to the other Shop Stand bugs, but you can submit some screenshots so that we can check if this is the case.
nevir:
The travel through warps feats are too easy to cheese, IMO (you can get them all in ~15 mins…)
Also, completing that many warps legitimately is a huge amount of work (relative to the other feats in that section)—could probably use some tuning regardless!
Are you referring to the Feats in the column second from the right?
