Which characters did the trade?

I thought i was goinf batshit crazy. My stand for exo marble was full of night orange and i never made any…makes sense now

Just so I understand correctly, there are a few report:

LunaLynn

  1. Gathered “Dark Rose” Metamorphic Rock from an old exo.
  2. Blocks are now “Night Orange” Metamorphic Rock.

However, the data about the exoworld suggests that:

  1. The Igneous Rock was “Dark Rose”, and
  2. The Metamorphic Rock was “Night Orange”.

FireAngelDth

  1. @Greenheart collected “Dark Orange” Igneous Rock from Gloviathosa. Which contains:
    • “Night Orange” Metamorphic Rock,
    • “Dark Orange” Igneous Rock
  2. Transformation chiselled it into “Dark Orange” Metamorphic Rock.
  3. Crafted it into “Dark Orange” Marple.
  4. Traded it with @FireAngelDth at 13th July 5:52PM PST
  5. And then after the update it has become “Night Orange” Marble.

@ghandymarshall and @Conkuur have also reported issues - but there isn’t sufficient details for me to understand clearly what has happened.

I’m not sure the kind of rock it was, I just know the color was dark rose, but I now have night Orange, I only assumed it was metamorphic because that’s what the orange is. I believe Fireangeldths is correct.

@FireAngelDth After the trade did you leave the world with the marble in your inventory or was it put into storage etc on that same world?

Left the world. Traded in duskmoor on phenom and went straight to Order of Oortian on Sorissi and put it on my shelves. Which also happen to be dark orange shelves :sweat_smile:.

Was going to replace my dark orange brick walls with dark orange marble. But didn’t have a chance to get to it right away and then when I had the time to do it they were no longer the correct color

Hopefully it all get sorted out. Dark orange marble would look nice.

So after some more investigation:

  1. When @Greenheart connected to Pheminorum where the trade happened they were carrying 4000 marble blocks that were colour index 20, which is “Night Orange”.

  2. We see a trade happen - at July 13th 2019, 22:53 UTC (Which is 15:53 PST) for 220,000 coins.

  3. When @FireAngelDth left Pheminorum they were carrying 4000 marble blocks that were colour index 20, which is “Night Orange”.

So from the servers perspective the blocks were Night Orange at the point of trading.

If @Greenheart can provide details of when the blocks were gathered or crafted we could investigate the block status at these points.

I will also add that we’re not suggesting anyone is wrong, or lying, or crazy, or anything - we’ve spent quite a bit of time looking at this and simply trying to work out where an issue with the game could exist.

Thanks a bunch for looking into it, I wish I had more detail for mine… After checking on discord I gathered them June 21st at 10:45 pm was about when I finished and went straight home and put them into storage because I was going on a hunt.

Hopefully that helps, and sorry I didn’t think about it earlier.

Was the storage you put them in on Gyosha Ophin? I can see you filling some shop stands etc there on the 21st so I assume that’s where your storage is? To check storage I need to pull snapshots of an entire world so I need to know which one I’d have to pull down.

Also what timezone is that 10:45pm in?

Yes, the storage is on gyosha and the time zone is EST.

I heard all this was a little leprechaun that was running around causing mischief because he was bored that there were no Gleambow events on the Exos!

hahah… I did see a cave in Ireland that supposedly had a Leprechaun in it… But if we ever do get Gleambow events on Exo’s I will be glad to take some of the credit!! hehe… @james HINT!!!

In the snapshot I checked which was from a few hours after you gathering I could definitely see quite a lot of Night Orange blocks in storage areas near to or within one of your beacons.
I wasn’t able to state definitively that these were the blocks you gathered though because the tools I was using to view the raw data don’t make it trivial to match storage units to owners, so I was just going on there being a lot of Night Orange blocks in storage very close to if not in your beacon and guessing they were the blocks in question.
I need to try and find some time to extend the tools or get someone to spin up a copy of the server and go and check all the storage but as you can imagine that may be quite time consuming.

At the moment we’ve not found any data in either your case or any of the others mentioned that shows the blocks were ever a different color in the server data. There is still a possibility of some sort of visual bug client side showing them as a different color in the client, but we also can’t see any way that that could happen at the moment.
