The forums here are extremely tame compared to pretty much any of the other game related forums I have had the pleasure of dealing with and studying. But there are rotten eggs in every basket and there is no avoiding such.
What dev response has been snarky?
You can ignore rudeness, and share your idea anyway. Why do you care how other people will respond? I don’t. If you have something to say, just post it.
Due to the way the system is designed at this time and that is outside of the control of boundless, That is how it will work until the devs hire a player behavior specialist. since they seem to refuse to Appoint any of the TL4 people as such and give them the tools to make selective punishments.
Trust me I would like nothing more then to see people who purposefully derail threads be punished as the player, and not the whole topic being punished and locked. But that is not going to happen right now.

Also from what I can tell, James has been taking a more active role in such things recently. So I am sure the very bad stuff will be removed.
