I know Cbarrabi personally and I can ask him to take it down, but he might be reluctant unless I can offer alternative designs.
no problem, i help if i can. it looks more professional if you use beacon plotter instead 12 beacon stones.
it would be nice if he can replace his building on the top off the hill or make it smaller so that it only use 2 beacon slots as ground area. and now you know how to use beacon plotter and you can explain him how to use it too.

to revive some old posts … it would be great if we had a legal system and one of us (maybe our town-founder / major @Smoothy) could remove the beacons so we can remove the much to big building …

I dont see anything wrong with it. its a nice building with multiple floors to do whatever you guys want me to do with it, and it has a bungie jump at the top. I dont see how I was not paying attention, it will look fine if the market place gets more buildings. It is a good sized attraction, and its pretty. I do not see how it even looks like a house lol its not a house, and I dont think there is anything wrong with the design. This is to everyone I can’t reply multiple times for some reason. I am not accepting steam friend requests for people to send me “gentle” messages. You guys used gleam, so I used it to, the building fits in fine in my opinion, multiple floors to do whatever you want. So no, I am not taking it down. Not trying to be jerk, but I put a lot of time in it, and it doesn’t look bad. The only way I heard about this forum is because a friend was telling me how upset about this building you guys were. Sorry but I just dont see the problem.
this should be a market place who every one building max size is 2 plots as ground area.
and your building is too big, and it did not match at the rest to.
so pls make it smaller. if you want build in a community project pls hold in the rules from the project, other way is go on a other place and build their
the market place are has a max building size from 2 plots(2x8x8 fields), and you can se how to place your building.
but you building is much to big, has the wrong size and if the ounderground storege is from you, it is going under the beacon from a other player

I dont think brooke_whatever was trying to be friendly, trying to add me on steam to drop “gentle” messages, and he had to google how to be gentle. Not a very friendly community, when I have to find out everyone made a section of the forum to try to figure out how to make me get rid of the building. I understand the plot requirement, but no one was online for 5 days, and i didn’t have this forum until after the fact. how was I supposed to know

and sry if brook was not real friendly to you, i can not talk for all people here and the game is alpha version and played from many diffrent people, thats the ground why not so often see other people.
as example i have now 16:49 afternoon and you must have 10:49 morning, if i know correct from trozay. so if i play you must work and if you play most time i sleep.
if you remove the beacon, you will rebuild it as a 2 plot big building or same size on a other place ?
if you need some help tell it here maybe some one can help you, maybe i have time or someone else.
so i have now expand the grind (way layout) a bit nearly ~60% ^^ so we have now place for round about 30 new market buildings
i had 1 idea, should we make the beach area as a play area for the children if the parents are shopping.
as example i have build a swimming pool
maybe someone will build a trampoline, or a ice/water slide or something else. or a area whoi the small children can play with the sand or …

the Higher Area on the big sea is the Living Area, feel free to build you house here
Lower Area - Market Area
The Lower Area behind the small Hill ist the market Area, anyone can build here a market centre, but with maximum 2 Plot size as ground area [1 Plot = 8x8x8 Fields], and using the predefined grid.

I think proper etiquette for joining settlements needs to be established. For starters, always contact the founder of a settlement before placing any buildings or beacons. Don’t assume you are welcome and don’t assume any build style is welcome. As a founder, proper contact information needs to be provided for players to apply for citizenship. For now, a forum post and adress is the best we have.

When I found this post all I saw was one person asking to have neighbors. No rules and no requirements. So I will assume I can do what I want considering it seemed pretty open. @Havok40k
Other posts were made by OP @smoothy regarding plans and guidelines later down the post prior to your beginning construction. While etiquette for these situations has not really been set in stone before, I think situations like this will be more common in boundless than they previously were in minecraft.
I simply seek to prevent future disputes, not point fingers.

but “rules” need to be set-up once people start to live together. we can’t just do what we want or the result is chaos!

I meet the size requirement. Up to this point if you look around the area you will see no one has one set architectural style. I need to see the new rules if you would like to follow them. As far as I am concerned I have not violated anything.
