Snowball Meteors ReBalance

Guys, im trying to complain here. You’re arguing about the wrong things. Pick those pitch forks back up!

I understood your post the way it was meant. And I believe I’m younger than you. I also don’t think this post should have been flagged. I will stop myself here otherwise I’ll be upsetting people and getting flagged :joy:

what about crafting RED CANDY CANES from sugar/syrup + water/glacier/ice + bonding agent/glue/wax/whatever?

If you really paused like you said then you didn’t need to add the stuff that came off rude to me. It is a two way street here as well.

Thank you for the clarification though on your data though!

Yeah your original approach and response to my fair request for data included stuff that was rude in the assumption that I was trying to create an “instant gratification” mode for people. Due to this you didn’t get a “nice” comment from me. You weren’t taking the time to address the concern I had so why would I wrap up my message with pretty bows and chocolates and everything.

Sugar and water makes a ton of sense. Maybe fleshy leaves for the “mint” haha

Yea I think that’s the issue here. We are so used to how normal meteros work that we can kill things easier by having different weapons. Where these meteors are a bag of snowballs and no matter the level of meteor or the mob it does the same minuscule amount of damage to them. And the strong spitters take forever to kill with that amount of damage

I don’t agree that MOST of the player base is elitist and inbred. That is ridiculous. I said the behavior of not including new players is that.

Telling a person how to talk is ALSO the wrong tone especially when there are MANY people doing the same communication themselves.

I did this post to IMPROVE things. Pay clear attention to what posts and the words from other people that helped blow it up! Do not try to blame it all on me. I will own my bad choice… make others own theirs!

Let’s improve the thread by dropping it altogether!

What kind of diversity do we expect for the event? Which roles should get the event items and how?

-hunter
-crafter
-farmer
-trader(?) I.E. valentine event

Turn on plot view to make the snow and weather disappear =D

Doesn’t work at snow meteors!

This is why I did NOT participate in this event last year. Rewards were low, recipe costs too high, and a single mass craft takes days of work. Nooo thank you. I’m going to start another thread on ways to improve meteors - link edit coming soon.

I actually would like to see the opposite. I want to see the meteors drop more spitters, that are significantly easier to embarass. Let’s go “Buddy the Elf” on them!

Increasing the embarassment level per player may not be necessary if the spitters are easier to take down.

OMG I would Love this!..But also not necessary, imo-

Yeah I think the drops were low on some meteors. But I did get 9 on a level 4 meteor which was pretty good. Unfortunately I believe the devs said they can’t do any updates over Christmas(on PlayStation). So we might all just have to hunker down and do the meteors as they are now. That being said. Anyone who wants to do them I’ll be on after 6pm est and will be doing a bunch. Hit me up if you wanna come with.

Would a tweak to the server side algorithm actually require an update on our end tho?

Well i’m not sure the technical side of things, but if its just a server change they may be able to do it without needing an update? I could be wrong though

I will PM you. I felt the use if inbred as a reference to players, even as a group, was inappropriate in this context.

Thank you. I really just wanted change and just would like people to take my post in its intent and not use previous bias against me to color their words.

Either way I’d love some data for T1, T2, T3 in solo and small groups to be put here. I think that is probably the only way we will get drop increases. Otherwise the only other approach would be to try to push back on the recipe but how do we prove that. I am not sure beyond the complaint around the color you get from some things not always being exactly what expected.
