I was in this death loop in between about 3 meteors. It kept reviving me near another one. By the time i sorted it out and saw the sl Alba, it switched right after. Im glad to get the one though

Ok itās been 2 straight days I donāt think all the colors are on rotation itās been the same 40-50 color palette kinda annoying sitting there waiting for a new color to pop

I kind of think the same thing other than I have gotten some gleam that has only spawned once. I think the colors are heavily weighted.
The āgrayscaleā colors seem to show up the most a long with a few other colors such as Rust Lime, Rust Fuchsia, Dark Turquoise, and a couple of others that show up very often. I have seen a few other rare colors.

I mean, how brave and determined to sit there and watch it!!! But, I think even the first one, we took it to be a set palette of colors over and over.
Iām not sure why they couldnāt make it do all ā¦
I bet a different world type would cycle through a different set of colors. Maybe the next color cycling planet could be a metal world or coal world, etc.

I really should spend a full 6-8 hours logging all the colors. From what I can tell, and I could be wrong, I think it cycles through all the colors. I can speak to gleam more than I can speak to anything else as I have collected a ton of it now and I can say every once in a while I get a color that hasnāt spawned before so it leads me to believe itās a weighted system. I am sure someone here might know for sure if certain colors are kept out of the ācycleā.
If I were to run the numbers on say 2 hours of the colors I did log, black (for whatever reason) spawned at least every 10-12 minutes. Mainly because in 2 hours time I know it spawned about 10 times for me.
I know of a few other colors that spawned 3-4 times and a few that spawned once and many that didnāt spawn. Howeverā¦ all that saidā¦ I have had 10 rare colors spawn for me personally, but I did get quite frustrated that there are a lot of repeat colors.
At this rate, as much as I love the color rarity, Iād be happy to see it removed and all colors available. Not freely available, but an equal weight given to all colors when an Exo spawns.
That said, from a business perspective, color rarity is a genius move, because it creates FOMO (fear of missing out) for everyone and anyone that still plays. Ooo a new exo with a rare color, I NEED TO GET THERE and get my share! A new color-cycling Exo I need to spend all day on it just hoping I get a special color. Ooo I need to roll 40 sovereigns in hopes of unlocking a new colorā¦etc etc.

FOMO taken to extremes can result in rage quitting. The game is overtuned.

I mean. if Gleambow meteors were actually consistent, I wouldnāt complain too much, but there are some colors that are extremely rare and after 4-5 years you would at least expect them to be a little more readily available.
That said I could substitute another color for the ones that are rare and at this point itās just me wanting to collect them all much like someone playing Pokemon.
I think we need to remember this is supposed to be a game. Entertainment. Fun. It should be heavy on the endorphins and light on the friction. Friction only adds to the endorphins when used carefully. Adding friction to every single aspect of the game haphazardly doesnāt make it fun.
Colors are not just collectibles. I would not care if they were just collectibles. Colors are used for building.

Sad thing is that grass, flowers donāt drop from Gleambow so I can complain alot lol

I canāt say confidently that you can, but I think you can. Has anyone seen any rare colors of gleam? If so, mind sharing which ones?
This is very true. It would be nice to use something like the goo system for growing grass. Maybe you could grow certain colors of grass on top of certain colors of soil to produce different colors similar to goo.

Correct it is, but as far as color cycling it is the least common grey that spawns.

i jumped at presents field yesterday evening to farm gladeflowers a bit butā¦ field were totally covered in dormant meteorites, few landing around me and i was unable to regen almost whole area was covered by āmeteorite is nearbyā forbidden areaā¦ after destroying several empty dormant i still wasnt able to bomb regen, so after awhile i gave up
