I 150% agree with you. I wouldn’t even care if it was just easier to make with kindling mass… but yes add another recipe with bonding agent and something else.
I’m sure you can in RL go to a local hardware store asking for Kindling Shreds for concrete no? lol…
I feel your pain… my concrete plans are down the drain as well
Bonding agent makes more sense then kindling shreds any given day of the week
I was soo excited for the concrete now it’s gonna be more of grind to make
The other decorative block recipes are reduced in difficulty, new ones are fine!
reminds me of that one time in Switzerland. 250 euros for a cubic meter of solid gold ? that’s a bit expensive!
maybe in the Boundless universe concrete is more magical and you can get a PhD in gravel making
Im glad i have been saving my kindling shred. Can make about 10,000 concrete which should be enough for my plans. But still a bit disappointed at the requirement of it. Maybe it will get me back into goin to exos.
No word on the refined rock of any kind for marble tho.
In that post there I think? I did make a screenshot of it…
Hmm, apparently I did not, looked at it tho, same as now except uses Bonding Agent instead of Super Enriched, the other 2 marbles uses Enriched and Super Enriched
Wow bad recipes are bad. I have a 270 crop farm for kindling and combustion but it’s not enough to craft these and get fuel at the same time
+1
its the perfect recipe
That little blooper…lolol
Wow! Awesome!
Yes, that saddens me too
Only way that it makes sense to stay metamorphic is that there are other nice blocks underway that use the other two instead.
Better start chisel changing I suppose…
Also for the person who told me a few days ago that it makes sense to use meta blabla, go look at the recipes for concrete, gravel and sand and see how they hold up to real world
I might be the odd one here but combustion particles are found on permanent planets and for the kindlings, its 9 per mass batch. Some difficulty and innovation (moving on from the enriched agents and what not) isnt all that bad i think. I stopped farming kindling since a very long time and idk i have a few stacks of it if iirc.
woof. i’ve played boundless for like 300 hours and i have 0 kindling shreds, 0 super-enriched-bonding agent, and I think like, 150 combustion particles??
kinda highlights my biggest issue with boundless. it’s a sandbox building game, yet the ‘cool’ blocks require a ridiculous amount of hours to even to get to where you can even think about making them… (nice forged tools, atmosphere protection, knowing your way around planets and what drops what, power coils power coils power coils, getting to where you can even make a shop stand to maybe make coin)
by the time you get thru all that, you’ve probably just settled for refined rock… or you only managed to make like 10 blocks. as it stands everything i build is dictated by what i have lying around : (
makes me kinda sad thinking about all the cool stuff that could have been made if blocks were easier to get …
New recipes and methods to transform existing blocks to something else look interesting. Like said on few posts earlier, there is no need for any glue so exo weed seem ok to me.
Same with having cactus drops to get some special colors. Maybe single output could be doubled instead of now shown 1 rock => 1 gravel and 1 gravel => 1 Sand?
I would like to remind everyone that apart from basic concrete and gravel, the new blocks are meant as mid to high end and thus require some work.
I understand they are mid to high tier. But I have to say that the lack of overall available blocks. The concrete is very disappointing. I have been playing this game since it dropped for PS4 and do enjoy the game. I truly do… but sometimes the amount of grind is too much overkill. I really don’t understand why it has to be that way.
awesome, effectively adds like what? 30 more building blocks to the already 18 new ones? so cool.
Bit harder (to me) than the bonding agent, be careful what you wish for guys
Awesome, new players can actually farm without having to use a later game system or find a store selling the water/forged tool.
and some other updates for newer players, awesome, great job as always guys. I can’t wait to start crafting up the new storage and blocks, and gathering some nodes, I can think of some places already that could use with the decoration.
Does the node keep the block color where it came from? or does it changed based on the planet you place it on?
