What the heck is wrong with the way the colours work with Sovereign Worlds?
Yes we’re getting more colours this way, no you can’t freely choose any colour you just want. This is just perfect!
Chance of getting new colours and we can change the palette to nicer ones that we know are on Public or on Sovereign Worlds already.
What’s to dislike about this?
An no polls please, let’s, for once, not do what always happens, witch and moan about something that in the end was sooo not worth the energy…

Again, AeneaGames, color scarcity in a game that’s (even though it IS an MMO) has its building mechanics at the forefront of gameplay shouldn’t really be a thing. I get there’s a whole economy thing out there, I know there’s a precious balance there. Personally I don’t care about said economy. I would rather build, I would rather be creative, but if I’m having to wait (As I am STILL waiting) for the specific color I want to show up in the Known Worlds, what is the point of even building to begin with if I cannot execute the vision I have in mind? Having color choice locked behind layers of RNG is a huge turn off for me. I was tempted to consider renting my own world, but if I am not going to be allowed the color choices I want from the get-go, then I may as well take my money elsewhere.

@james / @rossstephens is there a list of public test server colours available, so we can see how unique (or not) the sovereign planet colours are?
I had it with sand, then later after I changed mud 
I got it to work again, on an alt, but also after posting a few things here so something might have timed out, no idea. Then I was able to see the colours again and change a few successfully, after the last change however it got stuck in the same Loading Data thing.
I’ve stopped the game now and will restart it in a bit to see if that works…

Well there appears to be a couple of pretty major issues with the Testing update. Thanks for everyone who has given it a try. We’ll see what we can resolve ASAP. For players who can’t access their worlds you may need to wait until we’ve discovered and fixed the issue.

Clearly what you need is a Creative Mode world where you can just simply build and give yourself all the colour blocks that you want! You can probably, in the final version of it, also change the whole palette to your heart’s content, but I do not see the need to change it as it is. The devs have chosen for this scarcity way they are not gonna throw it overboard with rental planets, wouldn’t make a lick of sense to me.
So I do think this is the best way they could have done this, in my opinion.
Now let’s all enjoy what we already have, improvements will be made and am sure more people will be happy after a few iterations!

I’ve managed to get in now. Previously was trying to access the world via placed warped blocks. 5th attempt I tried from the sanctum (after logging out twice) and it let me in.

But then my world wouldn’t be permitted to be part of the main universe, and thus I cannot show off and/or allow other people to explore what I have created…
