Nope I’m with you. I don’t want to move to creative worlds. But I will if that’s the only place with all colors available.
Unfortunately that is indeed true, however I would; like you, be glad to trade color rarity for things like rare special effects, rare armor, rare decorations, rare weapon and tool skins, and the likes. Let the player character itself stand out from the crowd, not builds, especially if WonderStruck doesn’t want building in this game to be at the forefront.
I’m just going to try to catch @catfud in levels until the colors I want are unlocked. Only 4k+ away…I’ll probably catch them in a couple of days
Yeah, I’ll be waiting then. No sense in paying for a special planet when you can’t choose all the colors specifically. I understand they want a certain amount of scarcity, but if making black gleam, for example, worth only 10C rather than 5000C is the price, then so be it. I’m fairly sure there will be rare colors, as there are many colors that I don’t think many people will want in bulk. I know the color I want isn’t at all that popular, and even with my world connected to the original 50, I don’t see hordes of players coming to mine it out.
This is a statement we can absolutely agree on
All current Testing worlds have been given an additional 2 days.
@MrNiX you should be able to access your world again.
Updated OP with details of 245.4. Mainly fixes to the entity GUIs.
Any chance of the third round of worlds being started prior to wave 2 ending? Asking because something something stress case…definitely not because I have next Thursday/Friday off and am hoping sovereign worlds are out before then
Instead you should ask :
Any chance of not having a 3rd wave of testing and going to live this week? XD
That would be even better!
By this weekend would be spectacular (but I’m sure it’s too soon hehe)
I just want the World Beacon blocks for decoration (^-^)
Well the last update today was down to two rare crash scenarios, it appears. Maybe we’re closer than we think! oooor maybe we’re hedging our excitement to not be sadfaced if it doesn’t release this week.
2 more days of testing puts us at a Thursday/Friday potential release. Wasn’t there a fantastic hype thread a week or so ago stating Thursday/Friday is that special time? Guess we might get another hype filled ending to the week.
They’ve done at least one major update on a Friday. I don’t know how close they are to releasing this one though. Could be a couple of days, could be another week
That’s just what someone who knows would say.
There are a LOT of players who have been staying away waiting for this update, I think it would be best for it to go for as many rounds of testing necessary to get it completely fleshed out. Want all those players to stick around once its live
For sure but they will probably always continue to look at ways to update/add-on/improve things
Is it possible to add the ability for the world owner to directly teleport to other players beacons? As a planet owner is going to essentially be the moderator of the planet, it seems there would be a need to move around the world quickly when looking to handle beacon disputes/issues.
If the world(s) become populous and busy, then running around dealing with potential issues regarding plots and beacons may become a chore and cause the planet owner to be more harsh with plotting arrangements than they may have wanted to be.
This thought cropped up as I was reclaiming beacons on my test world a short bit ago and went to reclaim one that had a lot of plots so I wanted to check it out before doing so. Then I realized I had no idea where it was located at and no way to do anything except to reclaim it. I can track the player owner of the beacon, but if they are off world/line then there is no recourse except for total reclaim.
This could be extremely easy to exploit though. If there’s an issue with a player or their beacons, simply remove them.
Personally I would be against this. These worlds need to match the actual game mechanics and things other people have in the Universe and teleport is not one of that. People can warp to saved locations or use portals to get there faster.
Also, I highly doubt that disputes are that urgent that instantly being there would be that important.
