The last big update was on a Thursday and it wasn’t the first time they released on a Thursday!
But not to burst anyone’s bubble, didn’t they say we would get another round of rental planets on Testing??
So I imagine next week at the earliest?

Yep, Leah mentioned a third batch here:
So probably late next week at the earliest if this 2 day extension on round 2 pushes everything back by 2 days (which it seems it will since the third batch did not go out today) but probably the week after that or two weeks after that more realistically.
Yeah and I wouldn’t be surprised if they push that back a few days as well so it becomes the week after that.
Am hoping next week, but wouldn’t be surprised that it becomes two weeks…
Hmm but why not issue the next worlds now instead of conveniently extending current ones two days. I say update comes Thursday/Friday
You can warp to friends for free. You would only need one party to add you as a friend (say, as a process to making a beacon complaint to begin with) and you can then teleport directly to them, at no cost.
Well right now it seem to have just black list option to remove beacons.
Black list is character based, not account.
I dunno, lol. If I’m going to be paying more for one of these planets, I’d rather they spend another 2 or 3 weeks or longer getting ALL the kinks out, ya know?
What would be exploitable?
I agree if there’s an issue you can simply remove the beacons, it’s just a very rigid system I think. I didn’t see any issues with allowing the person paying for the world to go to individual player beacons.
The UI already allows you to track the player which is the public worlds do not allow, so already that’s not keeping inline with the ‘public’ worlds.
If you’re not on when they are though you can’t locate their build. I don’t see why the onus is on the renter to run everywhere to see if new builds are compliant with potential theme rules.
I just think the option of running all over trying to locate a build or just outright reclaiming the builds are too rigid, that’s all, so I thought it’s be worth asking.
But if it’s exploitable then of course it’s a nonstarter. I just didn’t see how it would be.
@Havok40k that still involves you or a friend running all over, assuming there arent portals setup.
But it definitely seems like it’s an unreasonable ask so I’ll just leave it
@james A glitched planet for my friend pls
You could have a friend with GC make hundreds of beacons and place them everywhere on your world. You’d have the ability to instantly warp from mines to storage to different regions to spawn meteors with no cooldown, etc. etc.
Havok’s solution seems pretty good to me.
But what if they have removed all known kinks by next week?
Feels like all the kinks are already mostly fixed though
If it was on a cool down, then I’d say that takes care of that exploit. But I get the point. A lot of people think it’s unneeded
Did the price for the contol thingy got fixed?
Actually any new item should be checked for its minter price, we don’t want another spark problem again
Yes, minting did got set to 0.3 coin on next update.
the black list option is independent of the “reclaim all this character’s beacons” as wanted to allow booting a character off from a whitelist-only world (no permission for “everyone” to visit) without needing to entirely blacklist them which is the more nuclear option.
But system will be designed to be so that planet owner can’t force reclaim individual beacons?
my thinking exactly
Is this a sovereign worlds feature?
We can warp to friends for free now.
