Textures

Umm came back to the game since playing it when the game had no textures for the players or anything and when it was called oort but upon logging in this strange glitch with the textures occurred and it is making the game quite unplayable. I have seen others attempts to get this issue solved but no luck, so I am here to try and get this sorted out for me and others alike.

Thats what im saying there was no resolution to that post so I made my own.

@vdragon is this an integrated GPU issue?

not a clue thats why i posted specs etc. to see if the devs would tell me if its something like this ive had this game since wayyy back in the day which is why im sad to see that my pc / something in the game is not working.

do they have like a discord or a teamspeak? something a little more hands on so I can get this situated.

The GPU is a Radeon R7 should be able to render it as it looks to be a DX12 class card. Try updating your drivers to the latest.

Can you post your log file? %LOCALAPPDATA%\Turbulenz\Boundless\boundless_log.txt The beginning logs out the graphics capabilities.

Which OS are you using?

By the looks of it, you’re using graphics drivers from 2015 …

AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics (Driver Ver: '15.201.2501.0', Date: '11-15-2015')

If you’re using Windows 10 (64-bit), I think these are the latest drivers you need http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/apu?os=Windows%2010%20-%2064 (please double check before trying to install though, as I do not know your full system specs!)

I actually have that same issue when I try and play on my laptop. I just assumed it was the on board video and it’s lack of power. Hope you figure it out.

I have Intel stuff on my laptop and I don’t remember specifically what my GPU was, but I have not had a problem with it.

Does your laptop run the game well? If so what model do you have?

so i updated my driver went into game and it made it even worse. I uninstalled the game and now i cannot even go through a portal without crashing because the textures go absolutely insane.

Actually I just fixed this by turning all my graphics down to lowest then restarting the game then putting them back to max when in the game. now all the textures are fine and I can go through the portal.

What a weird solution, but if it works, it works :slight_smile:
