Sorry, I didn’t realize you were talking about shops in a mall specifically. I thought you were talking about builds in general that were built for footfall purposes. My bad. I mostly agree with what you said.
I know you do, I practically emptied your store once a few weeks back
But… there is no such shop at New Leyden Market!
And since I’m sometimes 1 or a handful of items short or when I’m having a sale I just can’t always make them quickly enuff I wish I could quickly buy some locally!
Yup, don’t like it either, I do send people messages if I think they are using it in that way asking to change it up, make it a serious shop, but I also find that hard to do, I feel like I’m nagging them, sigh.
Few days ago I was nagging someone who got a 2x2 plot, started to build and then nothing for many weeks on end. So had to nag him, I don’t think he liked it much. Also to prevent this sorta thing I changed the rules a bit, the plot remain mine UNTIL AFTER they’ve completed building. Once they are done I give the plots to them. So in this case the plots were still mine…
Also, kinda funny, some have tried to gain footfall at my market by using a shop but they kinda forget the plots are still mine since they hadn’t asked for them yet
Eh, even though there’s been some migration, the game is also kinda dead. I own Ultima Mall and live right in the middle of Ultima Hub, and there’s just way fewer players. There’s been new players since Xmas, but I’ll say again what I’ve said before, this game desperately needs to go on sale to get a fresh crop of players. The current price is too high.
Ok, back to Wildlands and The Division, both on sale for $10 and $15 respectively on PS4!
The game is on sale?
Also I think they shouldn’t advertise that hard before the game is in a state that people don’t have that many things to complain about. Players wouldn’t leave after a week then maybe.
Then they would never advertise.
The nature of the internet is that people are always complaining.
Sometimes people even like to complain about people complaining about people complaining when there’s nothing else to complain about.
The key was “that many things”. Now there’s a lot of legit problematic stuff that makes players leave. When the problems start being more lightweight it’d be better. Nowadays most people give a game just one chance and never look back even if it does receive updates that fix stuff.
True, and while I agree with some of the common complaints (and I probably could come up with dozens of others that most people don’t even bother with or notice), I can’t think of a single one that actually stops me from enjoying the game, even in its current state.
So I guess the point I was trying to make is that to me all the existing … problems / difficulties are of the lightweight variety.
Yeah I’m in the same boat, I’ve played 400 hours last month so yeah the problems aren’t stopping me from playing. But I’m not the average player that picks the game up based on a suggestion on steam to give it a try. Most of those who would be willing to look past the problems are probably already playing.
