I pay them. A lot of nos turned yes that way.
so trueā¦people usually have a number they would say OK!
I would say yes if I was given like 200k or more coins
Did you make sure noone else could do that again by ploting the whole area?
I only paid players to move due to my settlement expansion, and none of them were ressource plots. Id expect coin would be a good way to convince ressource plotters to get an incentive to move too, though.
If i ever pay a ressource plotter to unplot, id plot above those ressources for sure, as i dislike ruining availability to others.
In my book youre wrong. If it takes money to bring a farming area back to the community, i consider it well spent.
On a lighter note, yesterday I approached 2 players who had plotted in prime surface spots and neither of them knew how good a spot they had plotted on.
They both agreed to lift their build up a plot so not only were they super reasonable when they could have told me to jump in a river, they are now also protecting the surface spot underneath.
Would be a good idea to work with each other in this way as not everyone surface gathers and therefore they see a large flat spot as a prime building spot.
This is a social game, get out there and knock on some doors you might find that we can work this out by simply talking to each other
Neither of you are right or wrong. There are always sides and consequences of an action.
In this case, it really shows how the people of this game are, and what shape of this game is - a bad one.
You are Not wrong @Marcello666 , paying for deploting is unacepteble.
Let them be Happy with the ā ā ā ā they are doing , all Others have to Take their thoughts Out of IT .
Perhaps some will group together to Plot above such areas for them selfs and the Rest of the Community to have the opportunity to Farm the Things needed for ever and for ALL.
But this discussion is Not new earlier mentioned by Marcello666 i think some month ago.
We all use our assets how we see fit. I like that there is diversity in that. Right and wrong is subjective, but healthy discussions are good. We are all just giving our inputs on this.
How that equates to people or the game being in a bad shape, i dont understand. I think the discussion is good and the game is constantly being refined for the better. Its all good to me.
i tell u whats wrong:
@Turrican2006, we should think about what rss we plot next, to earn some easy deploting moneyā¦
nice idea???
No amount of money is worth endangering the resources #savetheresources
Thats your choice. Freedom is a twoway door.
i do agree on this it can be a turn down for many players u are kinda making them āāboundāā to a certain area only and the name boundless will fall apart since limitations are already being put in place.
(boundless, be bound do less)
i still remember āāif its not plotted its free to plotāā no matter the locations! we (us the community) should not allow such thing to limit plotting for the new players nor the old.
see the thing is its just the game mechanics are.
i donāt blame the players for plotting gem mines or resources areas.
thereās a good market for it. and the only thing you can do is communicate and make it work for everyone, its our fault for not reserving certain areas for the community to prevent it
i have most of my plots on area farm reserving but even i have my limitations. but having said that new players have no clue that the area is a place to be used as farmā¦if they knew they would not do so! and its only a matter of playtime to find out . what can be done is place a beacon in the middle of that area full with signs around it and asking for not plotting it due to it being a resource farm (no you have yes you can get)
Its my fault that I trusted in humankind
That I believed people in this game is different
That I thought noone would ever do such a thing
That I played the wrong game after allā¦
trust in humandkind, sorry are you serious? its a game and a game should be played the way it can be played
people are different here it will be hard to find such a nice community elsewhere.
but if its a wrong game to play then what is stopping you from moving on?
even tho i wish from the bottom of my heart that every player gets the same enjoyment out of boundless as some of us do, but not everyone can be pleased
It was a super nice community⦠But unfortunatly there are always some bad apples that could ruin everything.
In this case, the consequences left huge bad impacts. And it seems to be more and more to come.
I wouldnt mind if there are just only one or two bad apples, but I dont think this gonna be stopped without Devās action. But still no sight of them since. I have foreseen a dark future, sooner or later it would come.
No matter how I tried in the past, still cant fix a thing, but slowing them down a bit. I dont see anyway for me to fix these issues myself, so I stopped.
i agree thereās always some foke that try to ruin the gameplay for others i cannot deny that.
but never give up never give in? just ignore them and enjoy your gameplay at some point they get tired of being ignored and let go. mostly and this is true most bad apples leave the game.
i would say just enjoy the game and if the forums are to much of an influence let it go.
do not let others spoil your game
I did try that. I left many resource hotspots unclaimed. And now most of them are being walled off. I saw more and more complain posts on this forum, and suprisingly there are people who actually defend for those who walled off hotspots, include those who walled defend themself.
I dont want to see the day where newbies could not touch a thing because of them. How can one could just ignore when everywhere around him are plotted and walled and he cant get a thing? Will there be anyway for them to enjoy the game?
lookā¦a wise tale told here.
to summarise: sometimes oorts donāt realise the impact they have when building but if someone talks to them in a calm, friendly manner then bridges can be made (not literal bridges thoughā¦compactness update coming up
).
I truly believe that anyone acting out of pure malevolence is very very small and the majority are building, rightly or wrongly, in resource rich zones out of either blissful ignorance or a belief they are helping access.
hyperbolic language from either side never helps and usually makes things worse.
