I thought about a waterfall door, but didnt go that build route. Would be neat though for a cavern type build.
first one was before water blocks were introduced and had to clear a load of rock, but leaving some blocks (later adding earth and grass) and using the water flowing from a cavern.

Ok, the last one is really what I am after. Where is this? 
I do want to build a nice natural waterfall but there is nowhere around my base suited for it unless I build the mountain as well.
at my lake build…climb the pathway to the little temple and it’s just behind there

I am lucky, my base is on Circarpous so lots of high cliffs.

yep, that’s what I had to do
Now actually building in/on a nice big chunk of rock on boori so should be easier

If I’ve learnt anything from decades of video games, it’s that we need more secret caves behind these waterfalls. 
Whatever is in there, belongs in a museum.
